I dont understand how people try to give meaning to everything and start every nasty rumor. First off, twitter is a social site that normally allows 160 characters for a so called tweet. Hence tweeters or twitpips compress their thoughts and discard anything else they seem unimportant. The problem starts when people read too much of a tweet. For example, i could tweet "i love you" and people would especulate for whom the tweet was meant for. Was it for my wife? My mistress? My fiancee? Hence lin tweeting last supper, meant a whole lotta things for different people. It's last supper coz he is being traded. Maybe it's last supper coz lin's going to suicide. Ok the last one is a bad example but i am sure you guys get what i mean. But shouldn't you guys think that porlly its last supper coz he is going somewhere else? And this is not just lin tweets. This also happen to a lit of people on twitter, celebrities or not
Anyone visited the Rockets site lately? Go check out the new player picture used to promote season ticket sale. http://www.nba.com/rockets/tickets/fullseasontix0405.html I think this says more than anything about the future of Lin and Asik on the Rockets, hence very logically the player emotinal detachment follows. For all we know, Lin could as well be a bystander in the team minicamp in LA because all plays are for Harden and Howard with no room for Lin. So why stay?
Go to the Home page, http://www.nba.com/rockets/, and click on the expand button to the right of "Get Your Season Tickets Now" and you'll see. Actually just look at the player numbers to the left of the season ticket thingy on the home page - only #12, #13 and #25.
Howard, Harden, and Parsons are being advertised as the Big 3, and for good reason. Anyone outside of them could be traded at anytime, which is why the marketing department is taking no chances, like last year, when Jeremy Lamb was gracing Rockets billboards only to be traded for Harden. Case closed.
And something that long term Rockets fans should know intuitively. There's a reason Morey always says "we're not looking to trade blah blah blah" or "we want to keep blah blah blah" because it's his way of keeping it open-ended. Here's what he said about the Lowry trade, and I paraphrase, "we liked Lowry, we wanted him to be here, but when you can get a lottery pick, it was just too good to pass up." Now insert Asik for Lowry and Aldridge for lottery pick, I bet you Morey will say the exact same thing if that trade occurs.
ohh stop..it's one freaking promo pic. Check out the Knicks site no Melo anywhere. http://www.nba.com/knicks/ Look to the right and the pic for ticket plans is JR Smith! Yes very telling, he's going to become the #1 option.
Yes. It was is getting annoying , some of these people on here thumbing up their nose on a players beliefs.
You are out of your mind. This is a player organized get-together to build chemistry and get to know each other better. You do realize how much your trolling right?
