    My guess:

    I think it was intended as a low-cost alternative to medical care (off yourself if you get some horrible debilitating illness that's going to kill you anyway and you didn't pick medical care...or just if you get too lonely and don't want to go on living).

    My assumption is it has 3 bullets specifically so you have one for yourself, and also one each for the pet and the girl (if you picked them).

    Easy for someone not playing to say this, not adding up their own points, but I can't believe anyone is underestimating the value of the skylight. Not even just for circadian rhythm, but just imagine going 10 YEARS without seeing the sky except on your big screen.

    I can't figure what's the best way to get entertainment. Or food strategy. This game is hard. I just know no sky would not be an option. Does that thing even crack open btw for fresh air? If not idk if I can even make it 10 years. I have 10 years of only slightly related personal experience that makes me especially sensitive, a better idea of just how hard this might be.




    Sooo many topics I hear on our local sports radio here, I've read as a thread that morning or day before on this site. This one in particular doesn't translate to radio well either.

    Can the girl be substituted for your wife? Not sure I would want to live 10 years with some stranger. It will get lonely in down there, you need someone to talk to. Of course does that mean my wife gets a payout as well? Not sure she would want to come. Not sure if being locked in a basement is good for marriage.

    Sunlight and kitchen seem mandatory. Why would you pick fast food when you can have a fully stocked kitchen with anything you wanted? You have all the time in the world to kill, what would be the point of convenience (which fast food is) in that setting?

    This is really tough. The girl makes it espicially tough.

    The gym would definetely add some purpose to your 10 year stay. By the end you could be ripped and have a deadly 3 pointer

    The library would add some much needed space, and unlimited knowledge and entertainment.

    The TV keeps you updated, entertained, and lets you watch Rockets. Video games would be an awesome luxury, but not exactly a necessity.

    Okay I sat down & tried. Realistically I can't get under the 10 mil threshold of 30 points. 5 mil at 35 is the only shot I'd have at even making 10 years:

    Non negotiables:
    -full kitchen/unlimited ingredients 6
    -skylight 2
    -hygiene/jacuzzi 3
    -medical 2
    -phone 3

    entertainment
    tv 7
    all movies/tv 4
    gym 5
    garden/greenhouse 2

    filler (one point left)
    guess I'll become a billiard meister

    Oh nm I thought you had to buy content extra, but if the tv comes with all channels, I cancel all shows & movies on dvd along with the pool table, and can hit 30. I could do that.

    ^lol I'll take the garden too, but are you a strict vegan or something? Otherwise good luck growing meat, otherwise you'll be (literally) eating that girl in the first year.
