Translation to the Spears tweet - Rockets may be pushed to an Opening Day game.

In other words, the NBA has been trying to find a way to fit about 20 additional Rockets games into ESPN,TNT,ABC, since the Howard signing.;)

I'm so pumped man. Can't wait for Thursday night TNT games, we better have at least 5 of those games, with Kevin Harlan and Webber commentating. Those are the best, really gets you excited the whole day.

    Can you blame them?

Also Brooklyn will be a central focus.

I can imagine a Nets-Heat opening night game followed by Rockets- Thunder.

Guess this finally settles the argument that the schedule is (somewhat) random.

Hopefully the Rockets won't lead the league in back to backs again.

A Rockets ticket rep called me and told me they expect to get the schedule next week (he's trying to sell me a half season plan).
