With all this crazy speculation regarding Lin and Asik, I wonder if Cyberx has any information regarding potential trades?

Yao didn't have much trouble catching the ball when he was averaging 25 ppg. It was a combination of team effort and coach's strategy.

Yao had some issues with fronting especially by the warriors but he improved on that in combination with the feeders putting more depth on the post feeds.

No, it was Yao. He was slow. Fast for a guy who was 7-6, 300 - but still slow.

I'm glad Aaron Brooks is back. I was hoping he wouldn't sign with someone else. I got nothing but love for AB. Someone here said he's not as quick as he was three seasons or so ago. I would be to differ, but I didn't see much of AB last season due to the whole CSNH thing. Hopefully I can see him and the Rockets this season.

amazing how a player less than 4 years removed from scoring nearly 20 ppg on a WINNING team is worth only 1 mil/year without having significant injury. Which is why you can't fault any athlete for choosing money over loyalty.

That sight is burned into my retina. I'll never forget JVG trotting him out there at that stage of his career.

Well, the alternative was Andre Barrett?

That supporting cast around TMac/Yao was so bad.

Speaking of Rod, does anyone else think Jeremy Lin plays like him?

Yao had slow feet,so I agree. When u have slow feet, that means you can't pick them up and reset quickly. Entry passes to yao was extremely difficult, especially after the surgeries. He gave a small target and the pass had to be perfect. If the pass was short or to either side of his frame,it was a turnover because he couldn't pick his feet up and move. With a guy like howard, the passes don't have to be perfect because he can pick his feet up and get the ball. That's huge for any guy making the entry pass.

You don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Aaron Brooks was a stud...a clutch player who could take over the biggest of games...

What happened to him was simple....the injury....Brooks was never the same.

But, he CAN still shoot the rock ...and THAT is precious with all the spacing because of Dwight.
