I would say that's probably true right up till just before the next trade deadline. Thereafter, their leverage drops daily. I personally think the Blazers are very open to offers for LMA. Doesn't mean they want our offer, but talks continue.
How can anyone forget the Mothers Day Massacre against the Lakers. Now if only we can duplicate something like that against the Lakers in the playoffs with Howard onboard I will be a complete human being!
Whether Jeremy Lin stays on this team or not, Aaron Brooks will never be our starting PG. I can bet your left nut on that.
2009, without a doubt. You sure it's still the case now? I didn't watch AB play when he was with the Kings but vaguely recalled reading report that his minutes were given to Isiah Thomas cuz Thomas was quicker and more explosive? In one of the Rocketscast Friedman and Ackerman also said Brooks isn't the PG he was back in 2009. Still a very decent signing though (esp. if only for vet minimum).

yeah but lin got you many 20 pts performances against crucial teams to get us to the playoffs, and a first step that allen and iggy have attempted to stop only to be ridiculed. brooks, unfortunately, since manu took his soul, lost that first step. that brooks against la is gone. if he was still around, he'd be the perfect point guard for this team.
head 2 head, they played pretty equally last year. You've been Anti-Lin from the very beginning, so obviously you are discredited on your opinions. I, on the other hand have been more rational. Lin isn't CP3 or Rondo IMO. But he's a bit better than Lillard.
