I'd given them Jeremy, Omer and Chandler, and I'll drive to Portland every weekend to watch them :)

Why would Morey use Parsons as a tool to get Howard if he were going to trade him a few weeks after we got Dwight? It doesn't make sense. If there is any deal, I would suspect a 3 team trade at the least.

I just did the ESPN trade machine and if it is right, Asik and Jones would work for LMA...

Don't be scared, the only time it'll happen is on 2k14 with custom rosters.

Makes no sense. Good try though. Parsons will still be able to sign for more money here since we have his bird rights. No reason to trade him.

    Trade will go

Asik, T-Jones or D-Mo and first round picks to POR

Lin, T-Jones or Dmo and picks to ?

    LMA to Houston

We didn't care if Jackson scored, Beverly and everyone else on the Rockets had only one focus and that was stopping Durant. Think about it- would you rather take your chances on letting Reggie Jackson shoot or let him give it to Durant. The 2 games we won, we won because we stopped Durant when it mattered.

That's actually an interesting scenario if the trade pans out. You have two 6'3 guards, both play like combo guards. They're a bit bigger than the Curry/Ellis combo in GSW, but can you imagine something like that? You have your legitimate shooter in Lillard ala Curry, and you have a PG that's capable of taking some of the load by being able to direct an offense with Lin.

Their perimeter defense might be like saloon doors though so I'm not sure. This is just pure speculation but it could work.

Portland isn't going to do a trade with the Rockets. The only contracts that work with them is Asik and Lin, they already have capable players in those spots. Portland is also on record saying they're not interested in trading LMA for future draft picks.

A lot of guys aren't the same players in Sac town. It's a badly run organization.

That's right! Which means Lin to Portland makes even less sense. I suppose the only way it'd work is to involve another team for a 3-way trade.

    OK

OK then how make salary work? Have to be Asik and Lin to 3rd team. Portland wants an All Star or Parsons and package. For sure TJones is gone too.

Portland does not have a starting Center. You obviously have never heard of 3 team trades. How do you think Howard got to LA for Bynum?

Portland may not be interested but LMA has publicly demanded a trade. The don't hold all the cards anymore.

So would Asik and Pat for LMA. Under the new CBA, Houston can acquire up to 150% or 100% plus $5million of the salary they trade away because they under the salary cap tax threshold.

Portland doesn't want Parsons. Get that through your head. They have Batum and Mathews.

Next seasons draft will be loaded with franchise calibare players so they'll cut their losses and net whatever they can and go into tank mode. I think Aldride hasn't been happy with their offseaon.
