    Yes

If we are getting LMA parsons is gone. No way they talk to us unless he is in the mix.

    Yep....that is what I mean.

If this is true, I would anticipate it being:

Asik + Lin and either Dmo or Tjones (whichever the Rox value the least) for LMA.

Because he makes less than $.5M and some people think Bev can be a starting PG in this league. That makes him valuable...and a valuable trade asset.

And if Lin sucks as much as so many people on this once great board thinks while making $8.3 million...then he should have negative trade value.

Regardless, Brooks is done. Toast. He no longer has an explosive offensive game to make up for his many many flaws.

They have a starting SF. Batum just signed an extension worth $40 mil.

Portland doesn't need Asik or Lin. They have Lillard at the point, they just traded for Robin Lopez, and they have Myers Leonard, a lotto pick, behind Lopez.

Isaiah may not stay in the D League all year. Morey said he could play his way out and Chris Paul said he wasted a year going back to college because he was NBA ready last year.

Isaiah is the most explosive of the point guards (40 inch vertical) and probably the best shooter. Don't forget this kid is first round talent. Look out for this kid.

Yeah obviously there is no thinking twice if a deal is really on the table for Alridge, but I would rather it be Lin and Asik instead if Beverly because if we got LMA and Dwight in the middle, Beverly would be a better fit.

And salary wise that is what it will take.

LMA is a pipe dream, the team is pretty much set for the year, I expect maybe one or two more minimum signings like Brooks but that's it. I think Brooks got a minimum deal because Mike Miller is going to have back surgery.

Portland will try to see what happens with LMA. He's not getting traded until AT LEAST the trade deadline.

I get it from a cap space perspective, but why would Portland be interested in Lin when they've got ROY Damian Lilliard?

Guys, if we're doing any trade for LMA we have to match the salary, quote me if I'm wrong but it's like 30 million for two years left on his contract right? Asik is 8.3 mil so is Lin so mathematically, those two would be the more obvious trade to make the numbers work. But with all these signings, we may have a third team to come in and help us facilitate this trade, god knows teams would love to have the low contract, high impact assets that Morey has collected.

All of these rumors and signings, ABZ, Miller, Camby, etc. Something is brewing, and the only thing we know for sure is that this roster isn't set in stone yet. NO ONE is safe, except for Harden and D12. So, let's just hope we can hold onto the good guys.

    No

And Parsons makes less than a million. Easily flipped for a 1st rounder or a player they need.

That's why Portland won't want Parsons let alone having to pay him in another year.

I'm scared of what our offense will become with LMA and Dwight on the floor together. Two big guys clogging up the paint giving Harden no driving lanes.
