hard to imagine casspi playing the stretch 4. he's even more frail than delfino so most PFs would eat him up alive.

TJones always play well in Summer League lol. Remember last year? And then he didn't get any minutes during the regular season. So, hopefully it's different this year.

Seriously, why is it not october yet haha.

I have such high, yet realistic and cautious, expectations for this team!

Chemistry and the resulting spontaneous plays that could never have been planned as part of a set play, is so enjoyable to watch.

I expect the first few games of the season to be a bit like the start of a our last season. When Harden/Lin just lit up the boards. With Howard now?!? oh mannn

Rookie Wall? Marcus and Patrick were ahead of him.

Agree. This is worth its own thread. The other thread is already all over the place. I hope this one focuses on BB only.

I think he is actually much tougher than he looks like. The only thing I'm worried about playing him as a stretch 4 is his problem with PFs. He goes for the steal but often collects a foul too. Besides, he wouldn't play PF against the fridge size PFs I guess.

Good Lord, this is getting really exciting. Howard really looks to be fully committed in bringing this team to the next level. Go Rockets!

TJones played awesome in Summer Camp last year too. Also he played great in pre-season. Anticipations were that he was going to replace PPat by midseason. Then the season started...and not a single good showing. Like DMo--it's nerves, not inability.

I for one sure did not recall any anticipations of that sort. He was anticipated to be a backup as a rookie.... which he partly did.

The commitment to excellence really shines through. We have a team of hungry players who each have something to prove........as a team.

    Go Rockets !

DD i don't know his % but I watched 5 games and when he was in it was a man amongst boys for what that's worth. P Beverly was so good they only played him in what ?...2 or 3 games then shut him down.

I know I heard BIG things about Jones and his play in not only camp but also in practice. McHale said he struggled putting it all together, digesting the schemes. That's why he didn't play until late from what I could tell. Everyone is all over this guy before the games start.

Pretty sure they only planned for him to play one and if anything extended it to like 2 or 3 games.

Jones doesn't play in the post. He's allergic to the post. His turnovers were mostly from dribbling around the perimiter and trying to make inside passes to slashing drivers.
