Wow. Every single player on this team (including our newest superstar) has nothing but praise and love for our coach, and yet people are still clamoring for a change?? I'm gonna trust the players and front office executives who are around him 24/7, and have countless resources at their disposal as the people to trust on this one. McHale is going to be great.
I still rather bring Phil Jackson, Dwight will be happier here. And that way with Phil Jackson here we can keep both the Beard and Dwight when their contracts expire.
Dumb thread, McHale will not get canned. To answer the question though, I'm sure a Van Gundy would be our next coach. No doubt.
so Coach McHale is untouchable now? He got the youngest team in the NBA to the first round of the playoffs, that's nice, but let's give more credit to James Harden, the clear reason for Houston's liftoff. and yes, word through the grapevine is that Dwight and Stan Van Gundy have mended fences. perhaps i should have mentioned that little tidbit--to those of you who aren't in the know.
SMH...no brainer, really? Thought Dwight said one of the reasons he chose the Rockets was that he would be able to work with McHale.
Let's get a new GM while we're at it. Better yet, let's petition to get a new owner, maybe... the Maloof brothers. It's a no brainer.
McHale will do fine this season. And we have DREAM And why would SVG want to come to a team with DH12?
What the hell. There is no reason to believe that McHale will be fired anytime soon. He handles egos about as well as anyone. If McHale were to retire, I am sure Stan Van Gundy would be at the top of the list. He is close to Morey and has a strong analytical background and is a passionate workaholic like Morey. Having said that, Morey thinks outside the box, so who knows.
dude, the Maloofs have tarnished their family name. I don't know if you live under a rock or not, but they are definitely not worthy of being the face of a franchise anymore. Let's leave Les' where he sits. He's earned his mantle.
