Howard, Asik, Greg Smith Terrence Jones, Motiejunas, Covington Parsons, Garcia, Reggie Williams, Casspi Harden, Garcia, BJ Young Lin, Beverley, Canaan To be cut and sent to RGV: Jordan Henriquez Depth Chart is a little rough
I think the most updated picture is on the "HoopsWorld" site. Go to the salary section by clicking on the NBA section. That gives you the whole roster minus the three rookies.
Omer Asik Patrick Beverley Isaiah Canaan Omri Casspi Robert Covington Francisco Garcia James Harden Jordan Henriquez Dwight Howard Terrence Jones Jeremy Lin Donatas Motiejunas Chandler Parsons Greg Smith Reggie Williams BJ Young
Here- PG: Lin, Beverley, Canaan SG: Harden, R. Williams, DJ White SF: Parsons, Garcia, Casspi, Covington PF: Smith, Jones, Motiejunas C: Howard, Asik, Henriquez(?) Players recently out- Robinson, White, Ohlbrecht, Anderson
Why would you put garcia at 2 and three? didnt know he was that good. casspi will have that spot and reggie williams will be sharing minutes with garcia
Does a depth chart even matter with McHale? He'll play whoever the F he feels like whenever the F he feels like it at whatever position he feels like.
The way Morey talks about Casspi you get the sense he will have a significant role on this team. Morey's been fishing the Casspi for quite some time. And come on guys, you know McHale was hired because he agreed to let the front office have a say in who received playing time and how they were used. He is MUCH less autonomous than JVG or Adelman were.
holy mother of gods, you mean to tell me we landed reggie wiliams? seriously, anything other than a finals appearance will be disappoint! we have so much flexiibility with this roster. If lin is struggling you put in a stopper or a shooter in place. If dwight needs rest or in foul trouble, no biggie, asik moves over to center. If harden is turning it over 1000 times, well you just live with it and bang your head. ahh, if miami gets cute with their lineups, no problem! you make them guard parsons at the four by bringing harden to the three, leaving lin at sg and bev to stop the wade. whatcha gonna do, miami? would have loved to have acquired ronron for vet's minimum but he'd rather go watch kids getting stabbed with wooden table legs on the court.
I think Garcia will get rotational minutes at both wing positions. Right now I expect a 9 man rotation to start the season. Howard, Asik, Jones, Motiejunas, Parsons, Garcia, Harden, Lin, and Beverley. Greg Smith may be in there instead of Jones or Motiejunas. Casspi and Williams will get there chances. I hope the PFs play well enough that there are only enough backup wing minutes for Garcia (and Beverley to a small extent).
David Andersen Trevor Ariza Hilton Armstrong Shane Battier Aaron Brooks Chase Budinger Will Conroy Brian Cook Joey Dorsey Mike Harris Chuck Hayes Jordan Hill Jared Jeffries Carl Landry Kyle Lowry Kevin Martin Tracy McGrady Pops Mensah-Bonsu Yao Ming Luis Scola Jermaine Taylor Garrett Temple
There is one thing i am sure i won't be disappointed about Casspi: his effort. This dude will do what it takes to win....he's like Battier. And his competitiveness allow him to do that ...allow him to attack....which he does have that ability. Battier doesn't have that of course.

Latest Update: (17 total. 3 spots left for Training camp slots allowed) PG: Lin, Beverley, A. Brooks, Canaan SG: Harden, R. Williams, BJ Young SF: Parsons, Garcia, Casspi, Covington PF: Smith, Jones, Motiejunas C: Howard, Asik, Henriquez Players likely to make roster cut: (14) PG: Lin, Beverley, A. Brooks, Canaan SG: Harden, R. Williams SF: Parsons, Garcia, Casspi PF: Smith, Jones, Motiejunas C: Howard, Asik Players battling it out for final roster spot: PG/SG: Young SF: Covington PF/C: Henriquez -Wouldn't be shocked if they brought in 2 more non-guaranteed contracts with D-League type talent. They probably would like to hold one roster spot open for a potential Camby or Mike Miller signing (Camby seems more likely) Look for Vander Blue and Cooley to get offer if another team doesn't give them a better chance first.
