    Those aren't facts.

THC is consistent with mar1juana use days prior. Fatty deposits in his Liver consistent with lean are from over time.

I must have watched a different video than you.

Nothing other than Zimmerman saying he was weird shows that he was acting strange, and his only description is him walking in the rain and looking around.

Not guilty verdict doesn't mean the defense proved anything, but rather the prosecution did not.

    Former President Carter's thoughts.

So whether or not there are issues in the Criminal Justice system, there will and should never be a Moral or Social Justice system based upon people's emotions.

Huh? According to your comment, the FBI found one jaded cousin who suggests the Zimmerman family is racist and you're ready to go all in simply because this is what you want to believe. But you refuse to believe a single word Zimmerman says? Then scream bias?? Yeeaaahh.

I can't speak for him, but he didn't present the cousin's accusations as a fact. Just that somebody who knew him did claim him to be racist.

Or some people are tired of this trial making headline news. Yes, we all understand there was a lot of gray in the case, but the TM supporters are acting like this is the injustice of the decade. If you want injustice, go rabble about Casey Anthony or OJ Simpson.

Any one else find it really ironic how Palin (& conservatives in general) got blasted for the whole political rhetoric with her 'crossfire' mid terms after a wacked out loon acting independently shot up a speech event and yet CNN has no problem airing black panthers making death threats and placing bounties? The media is fueling civil unrest in the black community by giving extremists voices leading to these death threats, bounties and riots/destruction of property yet....it's ok?

OJ. Proof that a black man can get away with killing white people.

Why is there injustice in those cases? They went to trial and were found not guilty. In my opinion, injustice would have entailed neither of them having a trial and being able to just walk free. They both went to trial and prosecutors had their chance to convict but did not.

Personally, I'd rather people rabble about things that actually matter than either of those cases or the one that this thread is about.

I challenge the assumption (N.G.'s comments not withstanding) that the justice system is riddled with racism. I spent almost twenty years working in the state and federal courts and while I saw judgements and sentences affected by money, position, power, and personal connections, I never witnessed one case decided by racism. Not one. I worked with over thirty different judges, hundreds of lawyers, and thousands of defendants. I was privy to private behind the scenes conversations with all of them. I did hear of racist actions at the arrest level, but not at the court level. Even those reports began to fade as minority hiring of police officers increased. Admittedly, I worked in only two different cities in Texas, but given the large exposure, you would think I would have encountered at least a few cases. I didn't. The nature and severity of the crime was always a significant issue, but not race. In my experience, people take their role in the system quite seriously. As a civil rights advocate for many years I would have been especially sensitive to this issue, and quite frankly was always watching closely for bias and favoritism. I saw some, but not racially motivated. And that is the truth.

HUgely ironic. We are in the perilous position of having The Truth dished out to us by those with a profit motive. That charge is incongruous with that nature. Wish that some true public, non-profit news service could be "fair and balanced."

The OJ case proved to me that race is secondary to money in the legal system.

I guess what matters is that the jury believed George Zimmerman which leaves a lot of titty babies crying over daddy's spilt milk.

George Zimmerman had plenty of witness testimony to back up his story. The jury rightly decided that the life threatening level of assault levied upon GZ by TM justified the use of deadly force, it's that simple. End of story. Move on.

I agree. You cannot have it both ways.... you cannot argue that the system works when you like the outcome and the system is broken when you do not like the outcome.

I do not quite understand all the really strong vitriol from both sides AFTER the verdict was rendered.
