Wasn't Clyde Drexler rumored to have put a quarter on top of the backboard in college. Found it. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/khGdUG0-jaw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
In terms of trade value, outside of LeBron and Durant, we have the two best assets in the league right now in Harden and Howard. Any team would sell the farm just to have one of them. By the way, still hasn't fully sunk in yet that we have Dwight. Unreal.
Interesting brief off-cam conversation between Dwight and Stephen A while shooting the ESPN convo. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q3__nJPp1ak Sorry, on my mobile right now. Can someone just embed the link. Thanks

II had a hard time understanding exactly what they were talking about, but did SAS say that Dolan wanted to trade Iman Shumpert because he didn't want to play in the summer league? If so, that just shows you how fickle some of these owners can actually be. I think we are blessed to have such stable front office management here in Houston.

Does anyone think Smith will take Asik's spot and be in the starting line up with Dwight? So... Dwight Smith Harden Parsons Lin ?
Stopped in because every morning I wake up and I'm STILL like, holy **** man, we have Dwight Howard and flexibility. Just wanted to say that. Thanks Morey.
I really have no idea who is going to start... could be Jones, could be D-Mo, could be Smith, and might even be Asik. However, what I can tell you that during the game when Dwight is on the floor, I think your almost always going to see these combinations at the 3/4 most of the time- -Garcia/Parsons, Garcia/Casspi, Parsons/ Casspi In time Jone or D-Mo have the talent to make it an easy choice to start next to Dwight but what we aren't sure about is - A. Will they be traded at some point in the season B. Will they develop soon enough to be a factor this year So at least for the first half of the season before moves are made, expect to see lots of small-ball at the PF spot most of the game, and at the ends of the game. In all honesty, Im not sure I would definitely call it true small ball. Casspi, and Parsons both have the height you need at the PF position, they just give up some strength around the rim. With Howard and Asik on the court at all times, I think they will be ok going smaller at the 4 spot.
Really, Coach?? You're questioning how an All-NBA First Team Center will fit next to an All-NBA shooting guard?? Because, you know, THAT'S never been done before. Believe it or not Pringles, there are some NBA coaches who actually KNOW what to do with a big man. Man, MDA, you officially win the:
People are starting to turn on the Lakers. If you see the comments on here and on Yahoo!, more people are getting tired of the Lakers' whining. Shoot, they're even getting on Steve Nash, of all people. They know having Dwight was probably their last chance at anything resembling a ring, given their ages, and now they're like spoiled children. And what's always annoyed me about Phil Jackson and Mike D'Antoni is their...smarminess. Always have to get in a dig rather than just shutting up about the whole situation. Ask Rick Adelman or Gregg Popovich. So childish.
I agree wholeheartedly. For being such a Zenmaster, Phil sure does love having his ego stroked, and getting involved with snarky comments even when it's completely unnecessary. As far as MDA, the amount of arrogance and cockiness he exudes is laughable considering he runs one of the most.gimmicky offenses in the NBA, and hasn't won jacksquat in the NBA. There isn't an ounce of humility within that whole organization and Dwight leaving is exactly what they needed.
i just realised now that we have dwight , this probably means that we dont have a shot at landing kobe in FA next year since kobe unfollowed him on twitter.. I STILL CANT BELEIVE WE LANDED DWIGHT... how did we do this!!!!!
