Learn to shoot then, bro. And Wizards, don't draft a pg #1. It's stupid. I'd be looking to trade this guy before giving him the max.
I thought for sure they would be a playoff team with Nene and Okafor manning the front. I don't know, if healthy they should be 7th or 8th.

The problem is Nene and Okafor just don't care anymore. The Wizard still might make the playoffs regardless.
He'll make the jump next year and the Wizards will make the playoffs. He doesn't need to be a better shooter than DWade. Just can't be Rondo-level bad.
It's pretty crazy how everyone is overrating the hell out of Wall after a couple of good months..seeing it on a bunch of basketball forums. He hadn't really done jack up to that point. That injury actually rose his stock.
I can't speak for Nene but I know what you wrote is incorrect for Emeka. He cares, trust me. He cares. Anyway, the Wizards need one or both to be healthy the majority of the season.
Is it possible everyone is rating him appropriately now? Perhaps his time out while injured helped him better understand some aspects of the game that played a part in his better play when he returned.

Porter has not looked like an NBA player this summer league. If there has ever been a time to suck at basketball one more year, the time is now.
John Wall will make the Playoffs. He has a good shot at making all-star team as well (reserve or last min vote in). He only needs to beat out D Rose, Rondo, Irving, D will, and Lowry. I feel D Rose wont be ready, Rondo will have a bad season, D Will might struggle like he did last year, and Lowry may fade into the mediocrity that is Rudy Gay. Irving is a stud but he needs to stay healthy. If Wall can get his team in top 8 of the East by all-star weekend, he has a good chance.

I know that. Just seems funny he seems extra motivated this upcoming season to get there because he thinks it will get him that max deal. Making the playoffs should've been his goal every year, max-deal on the table or not. I don't remember talking this big previously. Maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of it, I'll admit I'm not a big Wall fan.
