RACIST!!!! You just can't relate to her. She is so brave and graceful! (Anyone listen to the Box this morning? They stated that they should of had someone on the jury who could 'relate' to Ms. Jeantel. The hell?)
I view this as more of an indictment of the public school system and the abdication of parental responsibility within some segments of the black community than anything relevant to the Zimmerman case.
Juan Williams on Hannity right now: This jury made a mistake. They showed no compassion for the family of a dead kid. We don't use the jury system to rule on cases on technical issues, they are supposed to rule on emotion. LOL WUT Edit: Wow. I don't normally watch Hannity but I was told there was going to be a live panel about this so i watched. Crazy. Juan Williams embarrassed himself but the wacko that was backing Hannity's position wasn't any better. One (Juan) literally knew none of the facts of the case (said it wasn't in dispute that Zimmerman was stalking and started the fight) and the other just acted like a raging clown.
She's multilingual and has a problem with her jaw. So she will have speech problems, doesn't mean she's dumb.

That would explain her inability to form coherent sounds. She gets a pass on that. It does not explain her inability to form a coherent thought.
If you say so, the only thing that makes her hard to understand for me is how she talks. You make it sound like she's incapable of any kind of conversation.
This is actually the 1st part of the interview. I would have asked someone to shoot me of I had to talk to her all day. Love how she says he never lost his temper but in pat 2... He whoooop aaaasssssss. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/RdSxdSPn7HM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I can have a conversation with a rock. It doesn't mean it will be an interesting or relevant one, much less comprehensible to any third party observer. If the gears only have three speeds then it's too much to expect a ride in 4th.
No, I don't even really consider it her fault. As I said I blame the public school system and her parents. Moreso her parents. No one ever taught this young woman to think logically. I can't imagine being so negligent with my own child. But there are alot of people out there who simply don't care.
You're kidding? I think most black people would be shocked to learn who the real sellouts are (they're usually among the most popular icons in the black community). I can only hope black people are not now being seen as the black sheep (no pun intended) of society. There's certainly a long history of blacks getting the short end of the stick in this country, even long after desegregation. There's a long history of people getting away with murder on blacks. Long. But not every situation is a case of racism and it's important that even while standing up for each other and not allowing injustices of the past to creep into our future we think rationally and not over-react when it appears that once again someone is trying to get away with murder on us (literally or figuratively) again. The white man is not always out to get us. Wrapping it up, I like the resolve that we in black community have shown here but I think this was the wrong case to take it up for. Just my opinion.
Many found her conversation with Piers Morgan very relevant and interesting. I really don't see it, no she's not the smartest person but it's hard to say someone is just dumb without knowing much about her. She could be doing just well in school and planning on going to college. To say that she can't think logically is something different than saying she hasn't been educated though. Also if it's true that English is her 2nd or 3rd language then that doesn't help as mentioned before. I don't know, other than the one time she was trying to explain that GZ could be a rapist to Trayvon, I understood everything else she said. She made some lame attempt at humor about blondes though.
Wow....Gingrich on Cooper 360...I literally did not think that was him. He's on here talking about how race infects every part of the criminal justice system. Basically agreeing with what Mark Geragos has been saying about this case for some time now. Personally I think anyone that says this case...as a whole...from the moment Zimmerman stalked Trayvon to him being found not guilty...that thinks it has nothing at all to do with race is being extremely naive. Either that or they are the type of people that enjoy how things are currently so they are always going to say. "I don't see nothing wrong, things are fine the way they are."
She was a nightmare on the stand for the prosecution precisely because she could not form coherent thoughts and words. She was also confrontational, which didn't help. If she could think logically then she would be able to find a way to communicate logically. Sorry, but she's just not very bright. Piers Morgan isn't exactly the apex of stimulating and thought provoking discussion. He is one step away from Jerry Springer. His audience reflects that.
The problem is and always has been that there is ZERO evidence that race played any part at all in motivating Zimmerman. He himself is mixed race, and if you look at his history he has had many positive interactions with people of all races. It doesn't seem to have been an issue with him at all. Race was not a factor in this case until race-baiters like Sharpton and Jackson showed up and tried to change the subject from self-defense to race. If you are dumb enough to fall for that then... Not really sure what to say, since nothing diplomatic comes to mind.
