I question the wisdom of bringing Lin into a totally unrelated thread. It never ends well. I usually stay away. :)

Since you did, I'm just curious, you said the "majority" of Knicks fans do not like Lin. Can you tell us how the "majority" of Knicks fans all of a sudden turned into not liking the guy from absolutely loving him during Linsanity? Is it because of LOFs? I think most people who dislike LOFs actually do not dislike Lin. Or is it the fact that NY didn't want to match and he was perceived as greedy back stabbing SOB with marginal skill set? It's hard to dislike a guy as nice as Lin is. What did he do? What exactly is it about Lin that people don't like?

Nelly is 100% right, but I don't think it was to prove he can win without Phil. His point of a leader and the qualities they represent, and how Kobe doesn't replicate it...that's right.

He needed to talk about Jerry Buss vs. Jim Buss, the Lakers of Jerry's era are no more.

Lakers won't make it out as clean in 2014 as you think. Unless Kobe completely changes his approach to free agents, and not question them to be there, but encourages them. And yes, if Phil came, it would've changed, because Phil is then the leader. Phil's all about harmony; without Phil, Kobe goes it's you or me mode and that's just destructive.

    Nelly is 100% right.

Am I the only one that thought Nelly was incoherent, loud and annoying? That was awful on all sides.

Please leave Lin out of it. This thread has nothing to do with him. Why do you have to drag him in? Smh

You want me to leave Lin out of it by quoting me from hours ago?? umm ok? troll, and also I was speaking on Stephen A. Smith and Cari and how they are sensitive about certain subjects.

Lastly I can bring anyone I want into any discussion I want, ignore it if you like.

I agree and I think most people outside of LA and ESPN feel the same as Nelly. Kobe is super childish.

3 on 1 in this video. Glad to see how easily SAS, Bayless, and Champion can get their blood boiling when it comes to Kobe. Kobe has never made the players around him better. If he was all that he would have won more chips without having to have the bigs he has been lucky to have played with. Bynum, Shaq, and Gasol. I do believe that Shaq without Kobe on those Lakers teams would have still won the Chips. Kobe without Shaq on those Lakers team with Phil Jackson would not have won any.

Kobe took 20 shots a game, and Dwight took 10 shots a game. Kobe is delusional if he thinks he can get away with that and have any other star want to play with him. Gasol was the exception, and even he b****ed about it.

Nor can Kobe be trusted to change. He might say he will just to reel a a player in, but no one will believe him. Dwight certainly didn't believe he would change, and that's why he's a Rocket.

The only way I see Bryant sharing the ball is if another star kicks his ass in the Locker room.

So Bynum, Gasol are all proven winners without Kobe? And have you even listened to Shaq's interviews about Kobe, saying that he was the best guard he ever played with? The things Nelly said about Kobe are disrespectful beyond belief.

The hate on this board is so lame. So so lame.
