You don't like how he played as hard as he could through injury despite lack of minutes? Interesting.
Mike Miller plays with as much heart as I have ever seen, and he would immediately become the best shooter on this roster. Tempting...
Mike Miller has played 3 seasons in Miami. His scoring average for the playoffs in those 58 games? 3.7 ppg. In addition to his putrid postseason performances, he's also injury prone. He has missed almost 100 games in 3 seasons. Why would anybody want him?
Oh I don't know maybe because he is still one of the best shooters in the league. If he's healthy then he's a steal for whatever team that gets him.
I think this might be the reason. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Waiving Mike Miller would save the Heat over $40 million in tax payments over the next two seasons.</p>— Tom Haberstroh (@tomhaberstroh) <a href="https://twitter.com/tomhaberstroh/statuses/357212467820113920">July 16, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
He is a champion...and will know what is needed to win. I would love Mike on our team. Expect Morey to give him a call. People were clamoring for Delfino, but imo...Mike Miller is a better spot shooter. The Rockets better give him a call before a team like the Spurs, Clippers or OKC does. He would be a calming influence off the bench just like Garcia would be.
I'm sorry dude, but I can't stop laughing at "[CBL]rookie" right under your handle. That is hilarious. But anyway, he's too injury prone, if he comes on the cheap sure but the guys have already said our roster is at max capacity. So, no thanks.
Miller has battled numerous injuries. He had four surgeries after signing with the Heat to his thumbs, shoulder and to repair a sports hernia. Miller has also had back problems. He averaged 46 games played over the last three regular seasons.
