Of course to most people, especially on this forum, if he isn't on Twitter or Facebook publicly talking to his teammates then he is angry at Dwight, or at the team, or at Morey. It's stuff like this that irritates me about fans, when Terrance Williams is talking non stop through Twitter, people want him to shut up but when a player takes a break from social media it's because of something negative.
If Jeremy can hit his 3s at the same clip as he did the second half of the season while being confident(not passing up open shots), he will be worth every penny of his contract. Jeremy will be the X-factor for this upcoming season.
oh come on, don't start on the first page. You guys can't even take a joke without turning something into a battle. And like has been said before, being a good 3 point shooter is more so a you have it or you don't thing. If it was that easy to become a great shooter, why are dwight, asik, and even Shaq, all people who im sure work hard at free throws, still bad free throw shooters?
Kyle Lowry and Jose Calderon would disagree. Calderon averaged 17 percent from downtown during his rookie year. Now he is the best 3 point shooter in the league.
I'm confident Jeremy is working his ass off right now and will be one of the top point guards in the league next year. He cares about the money he makes and knows he wasn't worth it last year. Big bounce back year coming.
This is unbelievable. We signed Dwight Howard, we have a great young core, we're getting more national publicity now than the last 3 or 4 years combined, we have all of our future draft picks, some great trade pieces, and people are still taking any shot they can at Jeremy Lin. Can we give the guy 1 fully healthy season before assuming whether or not he's a scrub, or overpaid, or if he's a good fit with Dwight? Un-freaking-real. Add Jason Kidd to that list. But logic is useless when it comes to anything Lin related.
I believe he can become a knock-down three point shooter this season. He will be getting a ton of open looks.
Very diplomatic, but I'm not sure he buys into this whole " get superstars on your team and win immediately" thing. I remember in his exit interview he was asked about free agency and Dwight Howard, and said that he thinks they could win with the team they had then. I've always thought he plays better with a team of underdogs... High school championships beating Mater dei, Harvard, linsanity with melo and stat out...
one thing haters can't argue is that Jeremy Lin plays hard...he might not have the talent of an all-star but he is a good complementary player...if jeremy lin can improve his 3s (which he can) he could be a bj armstrong or john paxson on the bullls a good complementary player to their stars.
Seriously? You're comparing Lin a PG to big dominant Centers? The reason Asik, Dwight, Shaq, etc. are still bad shooters is because they're main focus all their lives was inside scoring and rebounding in the paint. And since they have so much mass it's kinda awkward for them to shoot free throws. Lin on the other hand has always been a perimeter player and just like any other guard and he has more of a shooting touch and feel. Therefore, it is easier and more logical for him to improve. Look at Jason Kidd, he couldn't shoot 3s for his life his first two seasons. Now he's like third all time in 3 pointers made and has had multiple 40+% 3PT seasons.
Don't know what the big deal is about Lin getting dunked on by Drew Gordon. Drew Gordon is a 6'9" PF. He should dunk on a PG in transition.
