I disagree with many things BigTexx says. However, I would absolutely be 100% against any type of ban whatsoever. It is important to remember as a liberal- and more important, as a U.S. citizen, that we should allow and welcome opinions from all, including extreme conservatives and extreme liberals. The best way to develop your personal philosophy is be open to ALL points of view and then formulate your personal views. BigTexx has just as much of a worthwhile opinion as any poster on here.
I have absolutely no idea why I clicked this thread. Any thread set up to talk about a specific poster will not end well. But this is just some inferiority complex gone wild right here.
I don't approve of this thread, even though I've stated my opinions about lil t previously, but for god's sake, DaDakota has suffered enough in one internet lifetime. Leave him alone already! EDIT: Y'all, jokes aside, I was lurking and logged out earlier today and saw his birth of a nation reference in a Trayvon thread -- that was so disgusting. But OP, the point is, just use ignore and never respond to him. I usually stick to that. For whatever reason, he (and his brother before him) have carte blanche. As athletes say all the time: it is what it is. I still love this place. And finally, for those saying lefties like to silence opposition, when has there been a similar call out thread for every one of the more conservative posters? Lefties, from what I can tell, like to debate, and they seem to respond to sincere posts. I mean, just look at how many people try to converse with giddy, right? That takes some real sincerity -- way more than I possess TBH.
He's one of the worst trolls I don't have on ignore, but I don't agree with this thread. As several have said, if you don't like his political leanings, or you do, but think his trolling makes him unbearable, put him on ignore. That's what it's for.
I lean far to the left and I think this thread is weak. Ignore him or take it up with the mods offline if you have a problem with his posts.
Yet you went out of your way to identify them as Arabs. If this was indeed the point you were trying to make, why didn't you just say: "a group of people illegally congregating near the front of the cabin?" You intentionally made it inflammatory and then pretended the inflammatory clause wasn't there. This is your modus operandi and it has become quite shopworn. Of course, the hilarious part of your D&D persona is that you pride yourself on your ability to debate but run away from all of your provocative rhetoric and hide behind a facade of grandiloquence.
hahaha I love debunking this over and over again. You cannot congregate near the front of the plane. You CHOSE to interpret my words by focusing on the arab component, but that emphasis was your own. You guys try so hard, but fail and fail and fail. I just laugh.
If you love debunking it so much why haven't you done it even one time. I've brought it up a few times, and you have yet to debunk it even once.
I have in fact debunked it over and over. It comes down to you erroneously focusing on the "arab" adjective, rather than their illegal action of congregating near the front of the plane. sorry, you'll have to find more "evidence" *snicker* good luck in your eternal quest
It has to do with you inserting the adjective Arab in as the only descriptor. Again, gathering at the bathroom of a plane isn't illegal. You described no illegal activity, and only described the people as Arab. You said you'd use violence. It was a racist statement.
gathering at the front of the plane is illegal post 9/11 it was absolutely not a racist statement I've debunked it over and over and over yet you still cling to it. You lose.
They weren't at the front of the plane, they were in back by the bathroom. Gathering at the bathroom and waiting in line isn't illegal. It happens on most of the long distance flights I've been on. You described no illegal activity and mentioned if Arab people did that you'd use violence. Why single out the group of people that would get a beatdown if you meant it to apply to anyone? Either it was racist, or you don't understand how to use the English language.
Not a longtime member, so I will keep it succinct: bigtexxx is entitled to his opinion, however blunt and coarse (in the opinions of some people) it may be. If bigtexxx deserves to be suspended, then so do all of the people on the far left bashing any and all on the right. It is all hypocritical and pathetic.
