Rockets offseason gets a C+. http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/68399/all-hail-the-nba-offseason

You've got to be kidding! The crap members of the "media" will say to get attention. Give us a break.
Anyone like a good laugh? Seriously, Nick Young? Kaman? http://forums.lakersground.net/viewtopic.php?t=162871&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=25
I have no problem with this grade. But if he's grading the Mavs badly("give Dirk a hug is basically an F) because they didn't get Dwight, give the Rockets a C+ because we did get Dwight, how does that work? Shouldn't Dirk have gotten a high five for dodging the Dwight Howard bullet instead?
Bill, why'd ya have to call him "Rocketman"?! Now everyone on ESPN is rolling with it <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/-LX7WrHCaUA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
the fact that they gave phil jaxxons comment about dwight an "A+++++++++++" just demonstrates they have an agenda against dwight. To think people in the media don't carry grudges against certain players is just as crazy. We see it all the time with baseball 'writers' The hate is strong with grantland.
OK so Dwight is officially a rocket, and everyone has seemed to embrace him. Even if I'm not paying a single dime of the $88 million he will be receiving, I would still wait for the results on the court, My expectations are : 1) Dwight makes an effort to improve his free throw % to 75% 2) Dwight plays all 82 games of the season 3) The Rockets at least reach the conference finals I think anything less would be a dissapointment. Not to mention all the other fans' expectations, which I would think wouldn't be far from what I'm hoping for from Dwight. Is that too much to ask?
Well, based on history, yeah. His FT% has gotten worse since his rookie year when it was acceptable. He just has garbage form and hasn't fixed it for whatever weird psychological reason.
Let me clarify, expecting a pro basketball player to shoot over 60% on free throws is very reasonable. It's just that Dwight is probably not going to, ever.
