Boston wouldn't accept that in a million years.

What Danny Ainge would do if he got that trade proposal:

Even if you have an interesting point, doesn't mean it's happening. Your title states it as a FACT. Boo!

Just... Wow... That might qualify as the most ridiculous statement in history.

while he would make us potential favorites to win it all, there's no way we can afford him. Celtics aren't stupid.

wait so Jeremy Lin can't carry his weight cause he doesnt shoot well enough, so let's bring in ROndo!?!? Harden would lose it playing with him. Rondo would come in and take over the team and piss them off just like he did Ray Allen, who's basically the nicest dude in te league.

I like the idea more than most on here of rondos fit on this team. Not that asik & lin would net rondo and green, would need filler & picks, maybe a third team to make it work.

I think it would be extremely helpful to have another creator besides harden, unless harden is gonna play 48 every game. It is possible for them both to start and still stagger the majority of their minutes. I don't think Harden would be too upset if he didn't have to spend ALL his time on the floor with the ball in his hands either. Harden will be on the receiving end a few of those 11+ assists a game too. Hell, he might even have enough in the tank to play a little D on the other end.

Everyone says "rondo doesn't fit cause he can't shoot" but that is a huge discredit to the way the rest of his game would benefit this team. PG who creates for others on an elite level, rebounds at an elite level, defense has been elite (not last year pre-injury). He would also give us more playoff experience & seems to shine brightest on the big stage. Dude always goes bananas on national tv & postseason.

Most important of all, he has the "killer instinct" this team seems to lack. Hes not a good guy, and I'm ok with that. Kinda like what Cush is to the Texans D, or Westbrook is to the Thunder.

Also, I think the talk of him being a cancer is overblown because he is not the most cordial guy when it comes to dealing with the media. Can anyone give me a specific instance of him being a team wrecker? I can't seem to recall anything specific, just media talk, but I'm a big pothead, so I tend to forget. People said Dwight was a cancer once upon a time too.

    ...just one guys opinion.

rondo AND green? not the biggest problem w/ this proposal, but the money just doesn't match up.
