Someone posted Howard needs to play 35 minutes because he is a max player. No thanks, Id rather not run him into the ground and have him be productive for much longer.

Jeremy is the most realistic player we can have for the PG position. He is young, still improving and had a solid season last year for a first time starter.

The problem lies in people expecting him to produce like a star due to his 8.3 million contract. Well that the the PRICE we had to play to get him. Remember he was a RESTRICTED FA so it's not like morey signed him to that contract as a UFA.

I expect Lin to play this season and solidify himself as a starter. If Lin plays good he either has more trade value or he is an integral part of the team and our success. After his contract expires i expect daryl to offer him a contract based on "winning" i.e. 5-6 million and sell him on playing on a contender.

Let's hope Asik will understand it's best for the big picture for him to come off the bench if he wants to win a championship. I'm not sure if Asik is that type of player though, which I can understand completely though.

I can understand about Asik, but why do people assume that JLin is going to get traded? First off he has a huge contract which no other team will dare touch and that which as time goes on will be less inclined to touch. Also Jlin is the point guard--do we need a point guard? Also he's a great PnR guy, great floor general, has probably the most potential of any player on the team, gets along great with all the other players and fans, has huge marketing appeal, is only 24, and lastly Dwight and Harden (and Morey) want him to stay. So I don't get it.

Most potential of any player on the team? Hello Dwight Howard and James Harden?

For the non-superstar players, they might not care about getting a ring as much as getting a big contract.

Potential in regards future improvement. Howard is in his prime, probably past his prime. What you see is what you get with Howard: so, not much "potential" for improvement there. Harden may get somewhat better but probably not too much. JLin on the other hand is good, not great, however every month last year he was better than he was the month prior. That's potential. Other guys with great potential are...Jones and DMo; however they need to work hard to be able to live up to that potential.

Omer might not really see the total big picture right now and I totally understand,” Howard said. “He’s a young guy and he wants to really be respected. I would tell him when I see him, ‘You’ve done a great job on this team. I’m going to help you and this team get better.’ He’s a big piece to us winning a championship if we’re going to make that run. Him and Jeremy Lin will be very good playing with me. I’m going to do whatever I can to make those guys’ lives better. I realize how much they mean to this team.”
