If Jeremy Lin can continue to improve, if he continues to the things that he has done well and if he can shoot 38 - 40% from three this season. He will be the best point guard that Houston could hope for.

you people don't understand the value of a cerebral point guard. If we want an isoless offense, like coach does, because we know he doesn't call the isos, we're going to need j-lin. It's not as simple as someone who can shoot the 3 at the point. =/

That said, if you can get a top 8 pg or a top 5 PF then you do trade lin. Then again, nobody would trade those players, unless their gm is stupid or stubborn.
Think about it, a pg that scores over 13 and dishes out 6 assists will cost you at least 7 million dollars. This team can be great as is, give it a season.

    Trust in Morey.
Morey will not trade Asik and Lin right now, he will be patient to wait a good chance, maybe on trade deadline or the next season opening

I think the only way for Lin to stay is that he keeps feeding DH with easy baskets. Otherwise, he will be shipped out ASAP.

Rox just wont jump on the first offer they receive on Lin/Asik. They will wait for the best offer.

Harden may not want the spotlight, but Howard loves it.
Lin must lay low for a while.

Okay time for the anti-Lin, anti-Asik talk to end. The threads must stop and the rumor-mongering must end. Morey's said this twice and now hes gone on the record naming Harden and Dwight wanting Lin and Asik.

Do some soul-searching and accept that your newest star wants these people.

    STOP THE MADNESS.

You know that feelings when you spend an hour or two with a conspiracy theorist? These trade/antiposts are starting to sound like that. Its gotten to the point that regardless of what Morey, Dwight, Harden, Parsons and the rest say ~ the conspiracy continues.

    Yeah! What a twist right!?

All this time a certain section of the board was sure that Harden was out to bury Lin's career.

It is AWESOME that two star players have the backs of two of their teammates. It is unprecented, and a sign of loyalty to their teammates and to the cause. Players play their best when they get along with their teammates, know their job is secure, and have support. Expect great chemistry this season and guys willing to take less minutes for the good of the team. This is the precedent. Good job James and Dwight!!!!!

This is all for the good. Hopefully Asik can get more than 15 minutes a game and can coexist somehow with Dwight on the floor at the same time.

I still believe they will be moved but Morey will wait until another Harden like situation presents itself.

I think Kevin McHale will give him the opportunity to start along side of Dwight. It might or might not work but I think he gets a shot.

Look, this is being done to discourage low ball offers, especially for Asik. I highly doubt that Dwight or Harden would complain if, for example, dealing those two guys got us LMA.
