    That would be my hope. Gonna take time. Don't think he can defend like Josh,but he can get better on both ends of the floor.

    No jumpers in the highlight video. I wonder if that's because the coaching staff asked him to work on other parts of his game. Regardless, I don't see yet how he'd mesh with Howard in the starting lineup.

    Jones is a bit weak using his right hand on the dribble. But then Jones has no problem using his right hand on dunks, its almost a go-to move.

    Jones will dribble hard left, and while in the air for a dunk attempt he'll switch to his right hand to do it (since that's the side closest to the basket). So it's not like he has no dexterity on the right side at all and avoids it completely. If he can develop confidence on that right side, it just opens up his game that little bit more

    What is a good fit to Howard? It is certain skills, or is it star talent level?

    Rockets right now don't have established talent next to Dwight. There isnt any trusty Luis Scola to go with.

    To get that, Rockets could have went the Orlando Rashard Lewis route way overpaying for Josh Smith to find a "complement" and killing any cap flexibility for later. (Though Morey says having Asik is as good or better than any PF upgrade.)

    T-Jones and D-Mo have good attributes. All they can do at this current time is hope a player establishes some dependability next to Dwight.

    Awesome. Shot 42% in summer league as a PF. Clearly a future star.

    I'll believe he doesn't suck if he's doing well 30 games in.

    Maybe he's a just 4 with the skills of a 3.
    Anything wrong with that?

    If as he can defend other 4s and bang inside to get his points and rebounds, I don't see a downside here. If you would like to see him drop a few lbs to become a mismatch at the 3, that's another discussion, but he currently has the size of a prototypical 4 with a broader set of skills that most 4s. That's simply a bonus, IMO.

    No, seriously how consistent John Lucas III is? How many games has he dominated? Is he a starter? What about Donte Green???? Another dude who dominated the summer league. Where is he? Seriously all you guys need to stop hyping players from the summer league games... I like Terrence Jones don't get me wrong but I hated when you guys get excited when a player dominates the summer league.......

    He dominated the SL last season, was a dependable rotation player towards the latter part of the second half of the season. People are excited because they expect him to be better than he was last season.
