    Nice plays but it's these same type of passes were also turnovers last season. It looks exciting, but there's a lot of risk involved. I'd rather have a safe PG than a PG who tries to hit a home run every single time.

    Even if McHale doesn't want Lin to do alley-oops, it doesn't stop Lin from running the play himself if he thinks it'll work in a given situation.

    Lin turns ball over too much.
    McHale analyzes why Lin turns the ball over too much.
    See's Asik not catching such lobs.
    McHale tells Lin the lobs dont work with Asik , forget the "home run plays".
    Lin stops the lobs, cutting down turnovers.

    It's nobody's fault that he couldnt use them effectivly last year. It was just the makeup of the team.
    With DH12, I think we'll see more of it coming back as the risk of a turnover will be lower.

    Anyway I watched that game and yes McHale said those things I am afraid . I remembered being shocked by that statement. I think there's a thread on it in clutch fans.

    Yeah in a way i want JLin to be traded because Mchale isnt fully using him..He wants harden to have the ball all the time...Lets see next season to see if things will change..if not its best to let JLin go and have him be on a team that let him be a PG..Mchale sucks at coaching i always wanted him to be fired but now that we have dwight its not going to happen now..

    What team that is projected to be better than The Rockets would "let Lin play PG" like you would like?

    I'm gonna go with none, so how is going to a worse team what's bet for Lin?

    Seems like he has good court vision. He'll definately will have some good alley hoops to Dwight this year. Hope he grows some confidence playing with Harden this year.
