Hooks website has him as tonight's starter. Waiting in condo in Rockport right now for wife to get dressed...me and my boys decked out in blue/orange Going to the Texas State Aquarium this afternoon..then on to the game. I'll see if I can get some good pictures at the game to share when I get back to Houston.
http://www.astroscounty.com/2013/07/cosarts-stay-with-astros-will-be-short.html Cosart's stay with the Astros will be short As in, 24 hours short. This is disappointing
Its so he can have another start during the all-star break. Same reason why I believe Springer should not be up here till after then as well... no need for these guys to be taking 4 days off right now.
That was kind of expected. Cosart provides zero benefit through the all-star break, so no need to keep him up. Question is, what will the team do about the rotation after the break?
I suppose I was momentarily pumped in seeing the beginning of the first wave of high prospect call ups. Wasnt thinking through the timing Patience Jim.
We'll bring him back up after the trade deadline. Need to showcase all of our trade chips so we can get a good haul.
The debut of top prospects should always be at home unless it's an emergency or something. Not cool, especially with this team.
FWIW Lyles and Norris both made their debuts at Wrigley. I think they all care about getting a shot mostly.
Who cares? The calendar just worked out to get him a start here before the break. His home debut will be a big deal too.
