    Very interesting.....and I mean VERY.

The only reason I think you would do this is if you plan on bringing over BOTH Kapanikolaou and Sergio Llull THIS offseason, as well as getting another big in return. It would also end any pursuit of a "3rd star", and I can't imagine the trade wouldn't include Lin.

    So maybe....

    Beverley / Llull / Canaan
    Harden / Garcia / Williams
    Parsons / Kapanikolaou / Casspi
    DMo / TJones / Smith
    Howard / ?? / Smith

Personally, I don't think getting out of Lins contract plus getting the ability to sign Kapanikolaou and Llull to long term deals is worth losing Asik, but who knows.

The other part to this Doc Rocket puzzle is the "and THEN" puzzle.

What is happening in LA AFTER this supposed Howard trade. He reinforces it with "Double-Whammy in LA". So either there is another move to follow "in LA" or there is another trade involving the Rockets.

"I want to believe" is the most recent X-Files movie. In the movie, people keep disappearing and their human parts harvested to keep another human alive. Perhaps this move by LA is an attempt to keep their franchise "alive". Lin fits with Dantoni, and Asik is a great fit next to Gasol. Perhaps LA won't tank afterall, and won't keep the max cap space discussed for 2014.

    A stretch.....i know.

The Rockets/Morey said Llull isn't coming over a month or two ago. Feigen tweeted the same in the past week.

I think if the Rockets do S&T for Dwight it won't be for a MLE, ie no Lin or Asik involved. A goodwill gesture for the Lakers to get a TE.

What if "LA" meant "LaMarcus Aldridge"? ;)

huh........definitely possible. Hadn't thought of that. "Double Whammy" could be 2 LAs.....Los Angeles and Lamarcus Aldridge. Can't imagine how complex that trade would be.

Super complicated. Maybe something along the lines of Lin to Lakers, Asik to Blazers, Howard and Aldridge to Rockets?

LOL, no way. Rockets would be getting 2 best players in deal. How many times does that actually happen?

Lin to Lakers, Gasol & Asik to Blazers, Howard and Aldridge to Rockets.

Why do the Lakers do it? They are trying to preserve the 2014/2015 cap space, correct? Lin's contract wouldn't exactly be ideal for that.

    Cyber, thanks for the updates.

Also, would you say the Rockets roster is pretty much set?

Do you have reason to believe LMA and Love are in the plan?

So you're saying they'd want beverly instead... for Aldridge? I'd do it.

We can't get Aldridge cap space wise without giving up Lin and Asik.

Just give up, its not happening. Maybe one day, but not now.

I dont think this was a cryptic tweet from Doc Rocket, just another way to poke fun at the laughing stock that is Hollywood.... However at least Sharknado knows exactly what it is supposed to be.... unlike the Lakers and their fans who can't come to grips with reality.

Yes, this is an actual movie being released......

    AND IT LOOKS AMAZING

LA has always been a player associated with the Rockets.

I will see what I can find.
