Does it really matter where Turkey is?? The point is he is OUT OF THE COUNTRY. /debate. We're not saying it's going to keep him down or make him suicidal.....we're saying he must have been told he could be traded, so he's not saying anything because of it. There is now way his silence is unrelated to this. He went silent right around the time the rumors began.
You know he just tweeted recently although it was just to a NBA friend. He also did a google's hangout last week which he announced on twitter and facebook. So he's not silent. He just doesn't tweet a lot to the public.
What did Steve Kerr say? btw-I think it'll do DMo good to be with his family, countrymen and teammates; maybe help stave off homesickness during the season. Don't you think that the higher level competition will keep him in shape?
He announced the google hangout on July 1st. It's been 11 days. The fact that he tweeted a friend tells us he's been on twitter, so it's not like he hasn't been on or away from it. He doesn't (re)tweet publicly frequently, but he has done it consistently, until now. 22 times last month. We're almost midway through July and he's done it once.
We're just wondering...miss the guys. But I agree, they're professionals. At any rate, what is there to say? Media (and we) would mess with it.
That doesn't make sense. He normally tweets a couple of times a month, which he has already. Last month he had a fan appreciation week so he tweeted a lot that month.
He already tweeted publicly a few times this month? Where? When? June may have been higher than normal, but he tweeted 13 times in May. Look at his tweets. Every month he tweets early, then midway, then later in the month...he doesn't just stop for half a month. It's obvious he doesnt want to get ahead of himself, which is fine, no reason to make excuses for him.
This month a couple of time to friends, just because it's to friends doesn't mean it not to the public since it's right there for all to see, plus the google hangout. I'm not making excuses for him, I just don't think him not tweeting a lot mean very much, since he doesn't tweet a lot like some other people who tweets almost every day about their life and what they are doing/going.
y chandler only give a birthday shoutout to bev today and not to lin? it's obvious chandler and lin are over.

I think Lin feels that he's could be the odd man out of the team. His team definitely is listening to the ground. And the rumors are probably shaking the confidence of the Lin camp. That is probably why Lin has been so quiet. All we have been hearing are Trade rumors surrounding Lin. It's ashame to see Lin shaken by the disturbing rumors of trades and PG controversies with Beverley. That is just the reality we deal with right now. Lin is going to have to understand why there has been so much disrespect to his game and even his character at this point. I am also disappointed to notice that team-mates are starting to distance themselves a bit from Lin. I think they also know or feel the changing winds regarding the PG position. Parsons probably thinks that Beverley will be the PG for the Rockets for the forseeable future, either by the confirmation of McHale/Morey/Alexander, or through rumors, or sources.
You'd be surprised how sensitive people are to social media, TV, and radio media. People of all walks of life listen to the rumors and criticisms. That is just reality. Jeremy Lin is just human and will be hurt/shaken or confused by the consistent trade rumors that have been reported. And if he doesn't listen to the media, his family and friends, allies certainly will report media reports.
Tweets or no tweets, it's pretty obvious to me that Jeremy's future is not with the Rockets. A change of scenery will not be a bad thing for him, but every other team is pretty much set in the PG position. Morey will continue to shop him whether he plays well or not. As I read on another board, "never trust a team that waived you on Christmas Day". And I'll add to that "Never trust Morey".
Unfortunately I smell it too. I dislike Darryl Morey, Les Alexander, and Kevin McHale all the same. They disrespected Lin once in December. And now they back stab him this time once they promised him that he would be the focal point of the offensive attack, when he signed that contract. Those people are nothing but snakes. I do Like the rest of the team though and root for their success. I have reservations about Harden, since his character is in a bit of question. But hopefully, Harden proves me wrong.
