What did you do on 7/5/13 when you heard D12's decision to sign with Houston?

I was working in a shop on Westheimer (let the jokes commence) by myself. I was paying way too much attention to this board all day and the store was empty when it broke. I did a dance around the shop. I did not get caught.

 

At home hitting F5 every 5 seconds...

 

I texted all my buddies, cracked open a cold one, and enjoyed the moment.

 

I was here all day waiting for some news.

/everyone who will post in this thread.

 

Laid on my couch watching Clutchfans, heard the news and went out to celebrate with friends.

(OK we were going out anyway)

 

I was checking CF all day, and then at 4:30, I decided to go swim with some of my friends. It was one of my friend's bachelor party, so I met them up. I think we got out of the pool at 6 and my friends said that Bleacher Report was saying that Dwight chose Houston.

I didn't believe BR because it's BS. I told my friends to keep an eye out for what Woj said.

I biked home super fast, ran into my apt, and turned on ESPN, and it was reporting 'BREAKING NEWS: DWIGHT TO HOUSTON'.

I screamed so loud; i kept screaming...HE CHOSE US! HE CHOSE US!

started getting texts/tweets from dallas folk, saying how much they hated houston

went to Genghis Grill after.

i was kinda sad though, because people were reporting that he went back to LA for something, so I started getting paranoid

but after dinner, this dude tweeted it and made it official

BEST DAY OF THE SUMMER BY FAR.

 

I was on a party boat full of h-town friends in lake travis and they kept telling me to check twitter and thats who we found out lol

 

I was chillin in Louisiana

 

I was sitting on my bed refreshing twitter like crazy and when I found out I blasted the Superman theme song haha!

 

After my footy game checked my phone and someone told me we got Dwight, ye

 

Had a thought that some idiot will create a thread after a week titled

I was on the couch refreshing the Dwight thread every 5 minutes until I saw someone post up the Sam Amick tweet. I squealed a bit, but was scared to celebrate until Woj confirmed. Then I remember him semi-confirming it in a confusing way with his tweets but I think he was just butthurt not to report it first haha. The only things that ruined it for me were Broussard's crazy "updates" and ESPN talking more about Dwight LEAVING LA rather than Dwight SIGNING with Houston.


GLORIOUS DAY THOUGH!

 

Checked all day for every second. Went into a rehearsal, 5 minutes in my dad texted me. Immediately left rehearsal and went to a bar.

 

At Buffalo Wild Wings on my phone refreshing until Announcemnt

I was at Frys getting a new f5 key and mouse.
