Seems like a good job with prosecutor's closing argument- pretty persuasive summary, in a really confident, almost angry shouting tone.

"Grabbing for his gun? Then how does he get a PERFECT SHOT, in the HEART, of a TEENAGER?!"

The things he says clearly about he is essentially throwing away because these would be facts needed to convict on murder 2. I think his argument for manslaughter is right on point.

Through the entirety of this trial I started with Martin, then went to GZ acquittal, GZ manslaughter. Now for some reason I get the feeling the jurors will F this up and convict him murder 2...this is florida after all.

CNN (Again) Refers To George Zimmerman As A “White Hispanic”…

CNN should demonstrate its dedication to being non-partisan and start referring to Obama as a “white black.”

    http://edition.cnn.com/2013/07/10/justice/florida-zimmerman-backlash/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

(CNN) – Florida authorities have a message as the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial looms: raise your voice, not your hands.

Anticipating that the outcome of the very public, and racially-tinged, case is likely to disappoint one swath of the population or another, law enforcement agencies have set up a response plan.

Part of it is a public service announcement that the Broward County Sheriff’s Office released this week.

In it, a black teenage boy and a Hispanic girl urge viewers to “stand together as one. No cuffs, no guns.”

Zimmerman is a white Hispanic who is on trial for last year’s shooting death of Trayvon Martin, a black teen, in Sanford city. Sanford is in Seminole County.

    --------

Got to support that narrative CNN.

Prosecution did pretty good job in closing. How could TM grab for a holstered gun inside the pants of GZ when that holster was on GZ's back, and GZ was lying on his back?

It makes sense that it was TM screaming for help, and the screaming stopped after he was shot. If it was GZ screaming for help the shot would have been more terrifying and I doubt he would have suddenly just stopped screaming. He would have continued screaming and calling for help.

The wounds on GZ's head could have easily come from the wrestling and falling during the fight. They don't seem life threatening, or anything at all like that.

I don't think it's Murder 2, but the manslaughter charge could be reached by that.

I don't believe that it was justifiable self defense. I believe the evidence doesn't back up the self defense claim. Given that, we know that GZ shot and killed TM, then it seems like Manslaughter would fit.

It could also be in the instructions given to the jury.

In Florida, only 6 juror is needed unless you have death penalty cases. The real reason is because it is Florida, they are weird down there.

I have waited to hear all the evidence and now am ready to weigh in with my opinion. I see no way the jury should find GZ guilty. The prosecutions case was so weak, this really should not have even went to trial.

He'll get manslaughter. I think he deserves murder 2, but no way an impartial jury lets this unrepentant "law unto himself" walk away unpunished. He created the situation. He was armed with deadly force and chased this young fellow down, who, of course, ran from a stranger. Someone carrying a firearm who has been trained and has an actual functioning brain knows not to deliberately put themselves into a confrontation that could possibly result in him, or her, having to use that weapon, yet Zimmerman did. I have good friends who are avid gun collectors, hunters, trained and licenced to carry, and every damn one of them condemned Zimmerman's actions. Every one of them. They all said that if Zimmerman thought the fellow suspicious, that he should have reported him and let the police do what they are trained to do. Yet he had to play at being a cop himself. Result? A young man needlessly killed. Zimmerman is worse than a fool. He is a highly dangerous man who killed someone. He belongs in jail.

And texxx, I agree with you about something. The media coverage is an embarrassment to the profession.

Considering you left out the most important part, St Skittles hitting Zimmerman first, you're opinion weights as much as the rest of the St Skittles supporters.
    Zimmerman walks.

You are trying to oversimplify this and not base it on legal rationale.

Think more deeply. Too much opinion and generalities in your logic.

I'm going to assume that the "Skittles" comment was a joke. Of course what I think will be the verdict is my opinion. How could it be anything else? But you all dismiss what I said about my gun loving, gun carrying friends, who unanimously agreed that Zimmerman was the instigator and the cause of what happened, and a couple have been following the trial closely. When someone decides to carry a fireman, they also decide to carry a great responsibility. Zimmerman left the responsibility at home. He should pay for that... in jail.

Manslaughter. Had Zimmerman done what a responsible individual would have done, and let the police handle what Zimmerman says he thought was a "suspicious" person, Martin would be alive today, and Zimmerman wouldn't be on trial. It's not that complicated, texxx.

learn to argue based on fact and reason, son.

GZ was not bound by what the non-emergency dispatcher told him. He could legally follow TM.

By your same faulty logic, if TM never went to buy his lean ingredients (which is also legal to go purchase skittles and watermelon tea), he would still be alive today.
