If somehow Kidd can convince them to just play and don't mind anything about their stats (which I believe PP and KG would willingly subscribe to), there's no reason Nets wouldn't mesh. A manageable 20-30 minutes for each will be good for them in the long run to preserve everybody for the playoffs. I'd say their a legitimate contender at the very least.

As things stand only Miami have a stronger team than the Nets. They have the best bench in the League and their starting five is as good as any that doesnt have Lebron in it.

I think some of y'all are reading too much into this. AK effed up by not exercising his player option at $10M a year with Minny and overshot his market value. So he settled for the best offer on the table, which in this case, just so happened to be from the Russian Mob Boss, Mikhail Prokhorov. Purely coincidental.
