Something tells me that when the Nets flame out this season...Prokarhov is gonna "take care" of someone.

I get that money is no object for filthy rich folk...but damn...$100 mil plus for repeat tax offenders? thats a lot!!!!!!!!

That Russian mafia guy got Kirilenko using either $10M cash or a real AK47. I guess it might be the later.

If somehow Kidd can convince them to just play and don't mind anything about their stats (which I believe PP and KG would willingly subscribe to), there's no reason Nets wouldn't mesh. A manageable 20-30 minutes for each will be good for them in the long run to preserve everybody for the playoffs. I'd say their a legitimate contender at the very least.

not sure how much AK has left in the tank...price is right...what happened to AK anyway? Did he have a big injury or something? He just fell off the face of the earth, went from having articles in ESPN the mag written about him and his liberal wife, to this

Find it hilarious the idiots claiming players care more about money than winning are the first ones to question his motives here.

They why didn't he sign with the Heat for the MLE, or the Rockets for the room exception?

Who wants to bet that Kirilenko's great-aunt Birgit from Luxembourg is going to die in the next few months?

As things stand only Miami have a stronger team than the Nets.

They have the best bench in the League and their starting five is as good as any that doesnt have Lebron in it.

Imagine when Kirilenko and KG are playing together. One will shout and the other will flop. Bad news for the rest of the league. Smh.

I think some of y'all are reading too much into this. AK effed up by not exercising his player option at $10M a year with Minny and overshot his market value. So he settled for the best offer on the table, which in this case, just so happened to be from the Russian Mob Boss, Mikhail Prokhorov. Purely coincidental.

Those 2 years should be very interesting, though.

F... this is really not a fair deal!

For sure, Prokorov is giving AK land rights in Russia on the sly or something.
