good to know - i wouldn't expect the rockets to actively shop asik right now anyways since there's really no reason to. we have the luxury of letting them play and gauging from there. outside of asik regressing substantially (and that is very unlikely) there will always be a very healthy market for him.

i also think lin's potential far exceeds his trade value too so there's no reason to shop him around either. if he can get some consistency on his jumpshot i think he can thrive on this team.

Thanks for the info man. It doesn't make sense to trade him now. The only players I can think of that Morey has ever sold low on were bottom of the barrel fringe NBA'ers that weren't going to fetch a solid return no matter what. Terrence Williams, Hasheem Thabeet, Jordan Hill, Royce White. I guess you could say TRob was sold at a low price just because of our need to clear cap.

But then you look at everyone we sold high on. Guys who after 1 year could hardly net anything in return. The list is exhaustive. Rafer, TMac, Brooks, Camby, Lee, Tony Douglas, Budinger, Donte Green, Jeremy Lamb. I'm sure I'm missing people. We are definitely run like a hedge fund here in Houston.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was thinking...OR ...they could send a team doctor/trainer to the honeymoon location where jrue holiday is and complete it that way?

Or..like you said, just waive the physical in general. I mean, there has to be a loophole around this. This deal was agreed to on Friday and now it's taking this long to be official?

Doesn't look right or feel right either...

Don't fret! Others have pointed it out and he has corrected himself.
