I'd love for them to find an article that talks about making lean from watermelon juice and skittles that did not involve Trayvon. You certainly can make lean out of anything as long as you have the cough syrup.
Like me what? I don't support either side. I've said this is a case that should've never received the attention it did. I've said I don't think Zimmerman would or should be convicted on murder 2. I've said the issue is not racial. That pits me against many in the pro-Martin crowd. I've also said that we don't know things from the other side either. Which puts me against people like you.
Check your mix: Prescription grade cough syrup, most important ingredient. MUST CONTAIN *Promethazine AND *Codeine. Get a bottle of Sprite (best way to mix) Poor approximately 2-8 oz. of your special syrup into a Styrofoam cup, you can find em' at your local liquor store. Mix thoroughly and add a Jolly Rancher or two if you like. IF you feel neccesary you may add some Milk of Magnesia. This tends to help constipation which might occur. Don't trip when someone says "you dunno what your doing".
- It is beyond dispute that Trayvon Martin was on the phone at the time the altercation occured. That is confirmed by cell phone records and not dependent on Rachel Jeantel. - Manslaughter does NOT require any illwill or malice. You are thinking of Murder 2. - The comparison between Martin failing to disclose he was a resident and Zimmerman failing to disclose he was a Neighborhood Watch patrol is not a fair one and sadly a perfect example of the double standards applied in this case. - When a strange man follows you repeatedly at night, you have every reason to be fearful and concerned that the stranger is planning to rob, mug or rape you. These are concerns most of us, if we are being anything close to truthful, would have in similar situations. When you have those concerns, why on Earth would you give a person who is likely to be a criminal personal information such as where you lived? The logical, common sensical burden in this scenario is that the FOLLOWER, not the FOLLOWEE disclose his intentions for following and pursuing. - Why would you run home, knowing the weirdo who was following you could now ascertain where you lived? It's not at all clearcut that running home is a safe thing to do in this situation. Is it truly more reasonable in this scenario to say with a straight face that Martin failing to run home (and possibly alert a stalker/likely criminal as to where he lived ) was the key factor in the incident or that the bigger factor in leading to the violence was Zimmerman's conscious/voluntary decision to follow a teenage, a decision that ran directly contrary to advice given to him by the 911 dispatcher and Neighborhood Watch Protocol. - In layman's terms, Zimmerman basically harassed Martin that night. He had absolutely no reason to follow him and it's undeniable, whether it was legal or not, that this negligent decision set into the action the chain of events that led to a 17 year old's death.

Congrats on finally finding somebody who references the use of Watermelon fruit juice. Can we keep pretending that Skittles and Watermelon juice are common ingredients?
Really? This thread has come down to alleging that Trayvon was making his own Lean concoction? I would like to hope that those making these allegations research more information related to Lean, how it is REALLY made and that purchasing skittles and iced tea doesn't necessarily mean that someone has the intention of trying to make or drink Lean/Drank/Syrup/Insert your own term. Just more character assassination of the victim, Trayvon Martin.
BDLR: quotes MLK I have a dream speech in imploring jury to judge Jeantel on content of her testimony. It's more like....I had a bad dream.... This guy had to tell the jury that the ME he put on the stand was an idiot. What a nightmare
It's sadly ironic that what led to Martin's death was false assumptions GZ made about hiim and now GZ's supporters are making the exact same kind of assumptions/conjecture to assassinate his character. It's also pure hypocrisy to consider Martin's drug use, but not Zimmerman's multiple run-in's with the law such as his battery charge (against a police officer no less), restraining order, allegations of his being a child molester and his and his wife's perjury about finances.
My thoughts on what went down? GZ clearly profiled this guy and figured he was some sort of criminal and decided to pursue despite being warned not to. He pursued and put his own life in jeopardy. TM ran but at some point turned and faced his pursuer. Whether he felt threatened or not, the fact that he probably was on top of GZ beating him does seem likely to say he is now the aggressor and using excessive force. What we do not know is if GZ ever attacked TM, and just ended up getting his ass whooped. The question then remains, regardless of race or whatever - is it ok to use a gun to shoot someone whom is beating you, but that you initially pursued and chased and presumably confronted against the orders of the police? I say having the gun in the first place is what allowed GZ to be confident enough to chase TM, knowing that he had an out in case anything happened. He played vigilante and doing that resulted in the death of someone who should not have died that day. His negligence led to this kids death, and therefore he should be convicted of manslaughter.
If you assume all the facts to be the way you want them interpreted then he is guilty. Of course, just because you say those are "clearly" true doesn't actually make them true.
