We do broadcast his games but not every games,it's also depend on his status in his team in his role and the amount of minutes he plays, also if there are more interesting games Casspi and his team won't be broadcasted.
I can testify about myself that I usually get up or stay up around 3:00 am in the morning to watch NBA games,I haven't missed a game in the finals for instance.
You're right and I guess that we Israelis are a bit subjective when it comes to Casspi which is kinda our pride, but we all know he can be a decent player,it's just a matter of confidence he receives from his coach and teammates.
I think Houston will be a good fit for him, because he is an energetic player coming of the bench, and also can be suitable replacement if Parsons gets injured.

With the way this team is built he could be useful.

four teams including spurs were interested. he chose the opportunity vs the money. give the kid a shot. people too quick on this board to look at stats and judge someone. besides he's making the vet minimum and only one year guaranteed

I think it is a very safe assumption that he cleared waivers as it was not announced he was picked up by another team in over a week since he was waived.

I think he has the skillset but hasn't had the right team to be serviceable. Sac...Cleveland...yeaaaaa not quite the best growing environment.

I think he may end up playing better in this type of offense. And he also has never played with a good team maybe that will help his confidence if his team isn't always getting its ass kicked.

Very lively discussion! Maybe I can bring some relaxation to those that are looking at Casspis stats for the last two years with the Cavs. Cleveland was the last place Casspi should have landed. Byrin Scott run an offense that had the ball in Kyrie Irvings hans for 24 seconds. Walking pace and with two option to finish. Kyrie drives to the basket os Kyrie shoots the 3-pointer. Omri was standing in the corner and never got the pass. Your stats sheet is going to take a hit in that kind of game. The Rockets are a totally different story.

You're right. He has played with two teams that both had a very dominant point guards. SAC played much faster, especially in the beginning, which suited his game. In Cleveland, Kyrie Irving has the ball 24 seconds playing at very low pace. Most of the time Casspi just looked at Irving play without never touching the ball. The Rockets play completely different type of basketball.

I think Casspi will contribute big time. Now he's got a great team around him and huge motivation to prove himself.

Don't be so negative! He has played in teams that it was impossible for him to show anything. Still, he's got great stats in rebounds, steals and blocks. If his shot falls, he'll be a real contributor for the team.

I'm not interested in the non-BB aspects. Casspi created great expectations during his rookie year. Cleveland was detrimental for him. The Rockets have nothing to loose here. Casspi plays basically for free to reconstruct his future in a great team and under a great coach. He's super motivated. He's also the perfect fit for the Rockets cap situation. In fact, a win/win situation.

First,Dwight wasn't in that particular Sprite commercial,Casspi joined LeBron and Ibaka in that commercial, that whole concept of the commercial was to take two NBA superstars and add few foreign NBA players,Sprite did it I guess in order to expand their popularity in the world,so they hired Ibaka,Horford,Bargnani and Casspi.
Secondly, Casspi is familiar with LeBron in the days they trained together in Nike training camp or something like this.
