He was on the Bobcats...on any other team that would translate to around 39-42% on 3's. It's easier to shoot when you're a little open.

Morey is pretty much banking on these guys (Casspi, Williams) who had a very productive first 2 seasons as back-ups/role players. showed promise and shot the 3 well at ~40% but ended up falling off badly the next 2 seasons when traded to other teams (shooting below 30% pt). Maybe he thinks a change in scenery will set them straight? Hope this experiment works out.
Delfino seemed washed up last year, and I hated that signing. Morey's clearly banking on one (or two) of these guys standing out in training camp/preseason, and filling a role. Williams has a great stroke, but I'm guessing he lost motivation on Charlotte this past year. In GS he was very efficient.
So, he will probably be dealt at the deadline or when the season is over for a draft pick or someone who can help.
Doesn't matter since they'll be up against the cap anyway. Won't stop them from picking up another player for the vet minimum. Le$' money, not ours.
