Some really over exaggerated the difference between Dwight and Omer. The gap between them was alot closer last season. I'll say 4 games in a reasonable difference. The biggest question is which Dwight will show up this season?

If it's Orlando Dwight, it will be more than 4 games. If it's Lakers Dwight, I'll give it less than 4.

If we had acquired Smoove instead of Dwight? I give it more than 4 games. The gap is a lot wider between Smoove and TJones/DMo than Dwight and Omer.

The goal should be 60 wins and a #1 seed. It is doable.

God that 09' Magic team was so bad. Carter was their second best player averaging 16.6 ppg on 43% fg. Rashard lewis? Jamar Nelson?

First of all, Dwight Howard is not replacing Omer. If we assume he plays ~30mpg in the regular season, then he's replacing ~12 minutes of Omer and ~18 minutes of Greg Smith/DMo/whoever else the Rocktes had to backup Omer. And we SUCKED when Asik was not on the court last year. Losing out on -7 points/100 possessions when he wasn't playing.

But even for the sake of argument Dwight Howard is replacing Asik, as in Asik somehow disappearss. He is definitely worth a lot more. Asik is a top-10 center. Dwight Howard is the best center in the NBA and a top-10 player even when not 100%.

i thought the Rockets would be around 50 wins this year just from natural progression of these young players and having a entire training camp together. With Dwight? I hoping for 55 and maybe making a run at the team record which is 58 I believe...
