I probably should have typed that into a translater before I posted it, lmao: "The taco of the black. That is flesh." Is that what it really means? I was just babbling the few spanish words that I know.
My son, a recent college graduate, learned Japanese using Rosetta Stone. Yes, Japanese. He did this simply because he wanted to (he has an interest in anime), and had asked for it for Christmas. This is while he's going to high school. So he goes off to college out of state and in his first year knocks off his language requirement in, you guessed it, Japanese, making A's. So I'd suggest the same company for Spanish. Heck, if they managed to make Japanese possible for a high schooler, seems like Spanish would be a no-brainer.
I have a cousin that is a teacher that used the Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish. Not to be able to speak it , but to know what the students are saying about him.
Neat little podcast I found called news in slow Spanish. Easy to understand and they provide flash cards on their site for each podcast for some of the more difficult vocab. Also made plans this weekend with a bilingual girl I used to work with. Perhaps I can get free tutoring again.
