Oh yes! Lets just play dumb and pretend Jasper doesn't have a reputation for white racists. Are you implying that it would be ok for me to make a joke about fried chicken and watermelon, then turn around and call you racist when you call me out for being racist toward blacks? Doesn't make sense does it? Neither does your comment. Northside, I've noticed you spend more time being argumentative towards posters you tend to disagree with when there is nothing to be argued about.
Know. pay attention Zimmerman on the phone with law enforcement said im tired of these assholes getting away while being advised to stay in his car . see that is what we refer to as a fact.
It's been stated over and over again that the dispatcher had no true authority. Zimmerman didn't break the law by pursuing. It was in very bad form for him to do so as a CHL holder but that doesn't make it illegal.
It is what is so hard about this case. He made multiple bad decisions that ended with him shooting and killing someone, but it stands within reason that he did nothing illegal. It also stands within reason that the Victim did nothing illegal.
Very good statement. The statements on both sides have been idiotic for those who are arguing about this case.
And i have never stated it was illegal and when i reference it i always talk about. it as it refers to mind state and it iis one of the only facts we know. but thanks again for trying to correct me. seriously the reason i keep referencing it is because everyone wants to speculate on trayvon's mind state while ignoring what we do know as fact
I always wonder how it feels to be one of these guys who just pick their side from the beginning on issues like this, then dig in and never give an inch to the end no matter what. Just keep repeating the same irrelevant strawman arguments, make the same assumptions & excuses over & over, ignore points that don't support their position, & inventing those that do. The mental gymnastics required must get tedious, but I can also see a freedom in it too, not having to deal with the ambiguity of moral gray areas, acknowledging holes in our laws & judicial system to really handle such incidents fairly. I kind of envy them in a way, turns something with no easy answers into a kind of game with a simple objective. It just makes threads like these really repetitive.
UNREAL: Documents Show DOJ Helped Organize And Support Anti-Zimmerman Protests Including Al Sharpton’s… Truly enraging. Via Daily Caller:http://dailycaller.com/2013/07/10/doj-provided-security-for-anti-zimmerman-protests/ A division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) was deployed to Sanford, Florida in 2012 to provide assistance for anti-George Zimmerman protests, including a rally headlined by activist Al Sharpton, according to newly released documents. The Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of DOJ, reported expenses related to its deployment in Sanford to help manage protests between March and April 2012, according to documents obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch. CRS spent $674.14 between March 25-27 related to having been “deployed to Sanford, FL, to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.” CRS spent another $1,142.84 for the same purpose between March 25-28. CRS spent $892.55 “to provide support for protest deployment in Florida” between March 30-April 1, and $751.60 “to provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31.” http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/31/justice/florida-teen-shooting
^^ It was a ploy to get blacks out to vote for Obama in the battleground state of Florida. It's obvious. Slimy Chicago style politics at their worst.
The irony of you telling someone to pay attention then imediately stating something that isn't true is hysterical. Zimmerman was never told to stay in his car. He was advised to discontinue following Martin while he was out of his car. Martin supporters continue to cling to untruths and unsupported assumptions to make the case for the prosecution.
Obamabot Russell Simmons: Guilty Or Innocent Zimmerman “Will Ultimately Be Punished” For Death Of St. Skittles… Vigilante justice? Via HuffPo:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/russell-simmons/just-in-case-george-zimme_b_3566397.html Like so many people across the country, I have followed the murder trial of George Zimmerman very closely. As we enter what is probably the last week of the trial, I am sure that everyone is anxious about the outcome. For the past 16 months, I have proudly supported the courageous parents of Trayvon Martin as they have fought for justice for their son. I have greatly admired the grace and humility that they have exuded throughout this entire tragic ordeal. For them, the day of judgement in the courtroom will be a very difficult day and I certainly will say a prayer for them when that day comes. Even with this important day coming soon, I remind myself that we have already accomplished a tremendous amount in the memory of Trayvon. All we ever asked for was for equal justice for the young man who was killed that drizzling night in Sanford, Florida. If George Zimmerman had rights, so did Trayvon Martin. And that is why Mr. Zimmerman was properly arrested and charged with murder in the second degree. He will soon be judged by a jury of his peers, and that is the best we can do. Whatever decision they make, is a decision that we must live with, whether we like it or not. Whether George Zimmerman is found innocent or guilty by the jury, I am firm believer that all of us live by karmic law, and he will ultimately be punished for the death of Trayvon, no matter what.
In or out the car doesn't matter. what matters is the fact we know the wannabe cop went against the real cop.judgement. but thanks for the correction i will remember it going forward.
it wasn't a real cop; and of course it matters, since the directive came when he was not there to hear it.
Whoever threw the first punch is the perpetrator. I care less about who should have done what. There is a huge gap between a verbal assault and a physical assault. The physical assault is the point of no return. Im not sure why this concept is so hard to grasp with the Martin supporters.
Technically don't know who initiated physical contact. The physical assault is not the point of no return. Having been in many fights and witnessed many fights, I can say that my experience has been that every single case resulted in a point of return.
