I remember when chris rock made a joke about people saying tupac was assassinated instead of using the correct term murdered. secondly Zimmerman wouldn't be the first person to get off. did you think oj would be assassinated if not what's the difference?

following someone is proof of vigilantism?

    more like hyper-vigilance at worst

And NS, it's really not necessary to embed all your posts with declarations of self-satisfaction (although it's understandably hard to display a Jon Stewart smug mug over the internet)

I did just that-- except it wasn't even evening. It was mid-morning. I had to run into the grocery store; it was cool and drizzling so I put the hood on my sweatshirt up but made straight for the front door of the grocery store.

Wouldn't you know that I arrived just after a Brinks car... and I had to walk right past the back door of the car to get into the store. You should have seen the suspicious look on the guard's face as I strode toward the store.

You guys crack me up. How many times has this happened? Joe Horn, Bernhard Gotez, Rodney King cops, so on and so on. These people were involved in similar incidents and *GASP* they're still alive. This is really no different than people drumming up feelings on the other side of this whole debate.

So evidence came out that from the bullet entry point and the powder residue that TM was hovering over GZ at the time of the shooting which fits the narrative of the defense's case. They said they may close their case pretty soon, maybe as soon as tomorrow if all goes as planned.

Please don't riot TM supporters if a Not Guilty verdict is read. Please, for everyone's safety.

a cop saying don't follow people is pretty much non-legal authority.

I don't even watch Jon Stewart. For your viewing pleasure I can also add Vines.

Indeed. If we just kill all the pot smokers, that will solve a lot of problems.

MSNBC’s Michael Eric Dyson: Justice System Racist Against Black People, “George Zimmermans Of The World Continue To Get Away With Killing” Black Kids…

WARNING: Watching this video may cause your eyes to bleed.

    Via Mediaite:http://www.mediaite.com/tv/msnbcs-d...-world-get-away-with-killing-of-our-children/

On Tuesday, Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson told MSNBC’s Martin Bashir that he believes, if the racial distinctions were reversed in the case against George Zimmerman for the 2012 murder of Trayvon Martin, the public’s reaction to the cases would be dramatically different. He added that the “George Zimmermans of the world continue to get away” with “the killing of our children” without facing justice. [...]

“Time and again, for one reason or another, young black people lose their lives and it is seen as the necessary condition for the justice system to prevail,” Dyson insisted.

He asked if the victim in this case were white, or if Zimmerman were black, “would we see the same outcome?”

“The unfortunate and tragic reality is that our children of color pay the price for the contradictions in a justice system,” he declared. “And the George Zimmermans of the world continue to get away, if it is true, with the killing of our children without necessarily facing the kind of consequences that a justice system would demand.”

People who are angered by this including refman a conservative on this site see a few simple facts. a kid was minding hid business and didn't make it home at the hands of a neighborhood watch guy who called the kid an ******* and was advised by law enforcement to mind his business . everything else is the story of a man on trial

Its really all the prosecutors fault. They tried to go for a home run instead of a single or double. I bet the family can win a civil trail not that a loser like Zimmerman is worth anything other than people giving him money. After this trail he probably gets a million dollar book deal and goes on the speaking circuit.

I don't think it matters because regardless of the charge trayvonn martin is on trial. the stupidity of the law puts the dead guy on trial.

I know a defendant found guilty can get an appeal based on having an incompetent defense- I assume nothing similar exists in case the prosecution doesn't do their job?

    Thanks prosecution.

If their clientele is reduced to people who condone murdering Zimmerman, wouldn't you agree they would go out of business?

That's hilarious. No they should riot, maybe they will kill a few of each other.

I knew this would happen. If justice is served and GZ walks, there will be endless excuses.

The prosecution can't do their job because they don't have a case. Could you imagine the pain in the ass it is/was trying this case. Imagine the months leading up to it.

That's a big if. Maybe, just because you buy a product doesn't mean you necessarily support the maker's position.
