So is Olajuwon going to be a part of the staff? Because that is what it sounds like from this quote.

I anticipate a number of two-man sets featuring Howard-Lin & Howard-Harden. Actually, in LA, MDA actually modified his offense to feature more PnR plays for DH but by then Howard had tuned out him and the Lakers. Don't forsee that happening in Houston with McHale.

It has truly become a lost art especially since the implementation of the Zone. I really miss seeing two post players going at each other one-on-one in the paint.

On PTI both said Lakers will win a title before Rockets. Kornheiser said in 18 months LAL will have a better roster than Houston. So that's March 2015, right?

    We'll see about that.

I wouldn't use the term meltdown although Ginnobli was simply dreadful for all except that one game in SA. What I saw was that when the Heat packed into that 2-3 zone, the Spurs' shooters were too inconsistent to make them pay - in fact, this had been going on for them all season. While on the other end of the court, the Heat's shooters were hitting their outside shots. Popovich outcoached himself in taking Duncan out which allowed Bosh to snag that game saving rebound but that game would have been salted away if Leonard hits both free throws to put them up 4 or even if Ginnobli hits his FTs. It was really that close and I don't know how the Spurs can come back after letting that 5th title slip through their hands in this manner.

Kornheiser is an idiot. Just wait until next summer when LA strikes out on Anthony or LeBron and winds up getting DeMarcus Cousins if lucky. If Melo doesn't leave the Knicks, the lakers are in a world of hurt for the next 2 years at least. LeBron isn't leaving Miami to play in the shadow of Kobe, either.

Rockets owner Les Alexander says his team now has the best center and shooting guard in NBA.
"Yes, I would think so," Alexander said in a interview Tuesday with FOX Sports Florida about his Rockets now being championship contenders. "We've got the best center (Dwight Howard) in the NBA and the best two guard in the NBA (James Harden). Not many teams can claim the best at two positions in the NBA."

    ...

Rockets owner Lew Alexander on Dwight Howard signing: "Right now you can say (general manager Daryl Morey) will be Executive of the Year"

    ...

Rockets owner Les Alexander said Dwight Howard is "not temperamental'' and is a "nice, soft-spoken man.''

"I've met him," Alexander told FOX Sports Florida. "He's not temperamental. He’s a nice, soft-spoken man. Even my doctor that did a physical (on Howard) said he really liked him. I think he's got a reputation that is unfair."

    ...

Owner Les Alexander said Houston's big-man tradition is "better than anybody's.'' Says "definitely'' than Lakers one after getting Howard.

If I had $150,000 to blow, I'd give it to Morey then take him out to Vic & Anthony's and buy him a steak dinner!

Who was the other? Wilbon? Its possible because of the cap room and Lakers' tradition, etc., but the Rockets aren't through upgrading. And if Kobe plans on playing 3 or more 4 years? National media haven't been too kind to the Rockets and Howard...
