    O Ye of little faith...

But worry not - The Morey is a Forgiving Morey. You can buy repentance by purchasing season tickets.

All GMs are one major f*** up away from getting fired.

    What could come close?

Getting the Dwight signing voided by leaking how Harden and Parsons were transmitting messages from him.

The silence these past few days has me worried.
I'd rather there be lots of bull**** trade talk like Lin for Calderon or Asik for Anderson, then you know it's just posturing.

LOL. Oh those who forget. Were it not for David Stern, Morey would be sitting on an overpaid broken down Pau Gasol, and a nobody Nene. Imagine our disdain right now if it were not for David Stern.

Lets not forget that he is also responsible for signing Lin to his contract. The vast majority hate that move.

His signings have been preety poor up until a lucky break with OKC. Remember Scolas contact? How about Brad Miller? David Anderson? Trevor Ariza? Terrible contacts. Howard spurned us the year before. Thank the stars thar OKC and Presti made one fool of a mistake. Not amnestying Perkins. Thats what it would of taken for OKC to keep Harden.

Lets also not forget that the initial plan was to grab Chris Bosh. Eeeek.

Now Morey gets a ton of credit for turning assets into better assets for the most part. The best I have ever seen. But lets not go overboard. He has been lucky. And if DH turns out to be spoiled fruit then what?

So the question is: did the hate of Morey spill over to Lin or the other way around?

Restricted free agency, that's what it is.

Morey is a genius. No other word for him. That we are still within the Cap while doing all the moves to build a contending team is miraculous. If DH works out as good as expected, and the Rox moves to 2nd round or more in the playoff, Morey should be considered the next NBA executive of the year.

He was ga asol and Nene move away from being stuck in mediocrity. I think a lot of being a good gm is luck.

This thread is fun to re-read.

The poll should have been public.
