If you turn down the volume, you can actually hear some valid points. Probably the best thing I seen from this show ever and that's not saying much. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/X024Qzw0fpo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Why did everyone start accusing Dwight of not being able to handle the spotlight of LA? Did something actually happen or was something said, or are they assuming that because he didn't respond well in the playoffs when Kobe went out? Maybe he actually just thought the Rockets were a better fit, without factoring in the "pressure" from playing in LA.
The "LA spotlight/pressure" stuff sounds overplayed to me in general, more of the West Coast media jacking off to itself, especially when they start talking about "little small market Houston" as if Dwight chose to play in Wyoming among the prairie dogs.
Which was the same thing he kept saying about LeBron till he finally won his first and his second.... the guy is a total blow hard.
LAOFs can't accept that someone wouldn't want to play for them. there has to be something wrong with dwight because LA is perfect
Funny thing, At the end, when SAS said the Lakers is no "The Lakers", that woman suddenly tried to cut him off. lol SAS forgot its against the law to diss Lakers in ESPN.
So, when Skip Bayless brought up Asik, saying "Asik, if he says...," Stephen A said "He needs to stay." Wonder if it is just his own opinion or if he's heard from a source (Dwight?).
I love how SAS (starts at the 12:00 min mark in the video above) says Harden is worthy of the $80 million, yet a little under a year ago... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/CAgE78KsuvQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Cari Champion is a rabid Lakers fan who doesn't seem to know a whole lot about the game, IMO. I guess they added her to the show for sex appeal, but she is totally and utterly useless. Pretty girl, though.
Skip Bayless doesn't believe what he says. He is trying to just come up with a counter-argument much like a lawyer would do.
SAS is spot on - for all the vitrol dwight is receiving from lakerfan at the end of the day it was their own damn team that pretty much shunned him to houston. how are you going to call dwight the future of the franchise yet deny even listening to him on major decisions??? who they hell can blame the guy for wanting to bail on a franchise that openly and almost without a second thought chose mike d'an-f***ing-toni over phil jackson - even after you, the front-office-appointed "future of the franchise", specifically asked for phil????? instead of hating on dwight lakerfan needs to focus on their inept front office - namely jim buss. he's the reason dwight is gone. Houston was hands down the most logical decision - "storied franchise" bullsh!t be damned.
