Darnell Maurice is the best GM of all time.

I seem to remember there were a lot of "Morey Moneyball" haters. Hopefully they are checking in, now.

Don't sweat it bro. I try to cut everyone slack. If I knew you were a Lion, I would have just cut a little more.

    This.

But tbh, there are still a lot out there that are reluctant to jump on board.

Always had the sense and believed that Morey would build something special eventually if given the chance, though there was a point that I wasn't sure if Les would give him enough time if he struck out on more free agents.

But I always had the feeling that it was inevitable that we would land stars with the way he turned trash into treasure (like Rafer-Lowry-lotto pick, 2nd round picks to rotation players, etc) and didn't hand out bad contracts. If Lin turns out to be the worst contract he's inked to date, he is miles ahead of the rest of the league.

Ariza was the worst contract he gave out, but he got rid of it fast.

True, but he gets a pass for that since he turned it into Courtney Lee who was a bargain IMO.

Lin could still improve, but I could also see him turning his contract into something worthwhile next year if he doesn't. We've certainly come a long way from the Mo Taylor and Moochie Norris days.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to getting better.

Welcome to the Moreyside Almu. My new moreyside brother.

I'm still waiting for Raven's comments. If I recall, he was pretty anti-DM and anti-analytics.

Even Morey's missteps (Royce White, T-Will, Ariza) were remedied pretty quickly, and you have to give him credit for taking those calculated risks. You don't get anywhere in this league (or in life, for that matter) by playing it safe.

even if Dwight Howard doesn't get back to his old self, great move by Morey. If only he could predict the future...

Morey was my favorite Rocket the past few years. His activeness has always been appealing to me. It's great to see his plan come to fruition.

Sounds logical enough to be disappointed, doubtful etc. but it was the crusade to fire Morey that got me a little uneasy throughout the years. I honestly liked every move he made and sometimes felt like I hardly knew basketball when other users started posting stats on certain players in the mix. I guess not knowing everything from this side of the arena isn't too bad.

5 star post pimpn. Ive had some heated debates when it came to Morey. Keep telling people/fans to show a lil patience. But they pretty much felt exactly how you felt. Every team cant rebuild just like that, with a snap of a finger, no sir. But some fans want immediate gratification. Not looking at the complete circle. But hey welcome back LOL. I gave Morey 5 years to revamp our squad and he is right on the money.
