How many games will TC sellout this season?I'm hoping the fans actually show out this year, especially all those company seats in the lower bowl.
This, the bandwagon will be strong this year. It's bittersweet because I know come next June, I will be studying for the bar exam intensely and I expect our guys to be in it until the end.
Thanks for responding to my thread clutch. Been with clutchfans since we acquired TMAC and I haven't been this excited in a long time. I will miss buying those 10 dollar tickets on flashseats lol can't wait to see how these next few years play out.
You really think that? I won't guess what sold tickets will be, but I don't think they will have max attendance for sure.
Would be shocked if it was greater than 0. Dwight and championship aspirations? Bandwagon fans will be strong. We were already at 92% last season. I wonder if not having a CSN deal will increase people wanting to find tickets since they can't watch at home as often or if keeping up with the team every game will make them want to go more often...
Question(s) for a fan that doesn't live near Houston: Why is it that we have problems filling out the lower bowl seats? Why do the Rockets have problem with corp tickets and no other team does? What's being done to fix it?
That doesn't matter. Only thing that counts is if the tickets are fully paid for and the Rockets get their max money.
Even if they do sell out every game, we'll still see tons of empty seats at tipoff(except for maybe weekend games). Moving weeknight starts to 7PM was a big mistake. People can't get to the games in time.
Not really. It all depends on how well the Rockets are playing. If we are kicking some serious ass then expect the bandwagon to fill up quickly.
Everyone hangs out upstairs at the jack-daniels bar, instead of sitting at their seat and watching the game (the purchased the ticket and can do what they wish). I don't know that selling corp tickets is the problem, I don't have any empirical evidence, but I believe they are doing fine ticket wise in this area. Getting people to show up and stay in their seats is a totally different issue....
This will change as the product on the court has improved. It's going to be cool to actually watch the team play, whereas before corp ticket seaters in the past have enjoyed the social scene more than the actual game itself.
They will. Time for everyone who b****es about Houston rockets fans to find out what rockets fans are about. Sure their will be bandwagonners, but they are everywhere. Now that we have a good team everyone can finally shut up about it.
The City of Houston owes record setting season attendance to the Rockets. The entire organization: ownership, front office, coaching staff, players past & present went ALL OUT to bring this team back to being serious contenders for a title & did what many thought was impossible by getting the best center in the league to leave the most storied franchise in the NBA to come to H-Town. If they don't sell out every game this year, then I'm not a fan of Rockets fans.
