They're gonna be sick this year... might have to invest in season tickets...

They will trade Ricjard Jefferson first, then use the trade exception generated to do a sign and trade for Iguodala.

We'll see what they do...but as of right now....

I think they're going to be worse than last season.

I think Iggy is superflous for that team.

I think the last thing they needed was another wing.

I think you can't count on Bogut or Curry to stay healthy.

I think letting go of Jack and Landry is going to hurt them.

I think they mortgaged the future for Iggy, which was way too high a price to pay.

Maybe, depends on who they sign with the MLE.

I think they're positioned slightly better, and Bogut could very well be healthier, but I agree with all of these points.

Replacing Jack for Iggy alone is almost a wash the way that team is built.

What does worry me is all of the teams helping the Warriors out. First Utah, now Denver? What's up with that?

The Warriors paid a large price to clear cap space one season early to get Iggy. Those draft picks are not protected, the Warriors better hope that Curry doesn't get hurt.

Iggy is a very good defensive player, but not a good offensive one last year. Also, I do not think Bogut will make it through the season. He was getting injections before every playoff game and was in terrible pain.

You didn't watch GSW that much did you?

Jack at times was the best player on that team. Iggy doesn't make that a wash in the least bit.

I think GS will be slightly better this year but hurt their long run potential and here's why:

Gave away 2 1st round picks and multiple 2nd round picks to clear cap space.
Signed Iguodola to a hefty contract.
Iguodola is not the same player as he use to be and is falling off some.
Iguodola's minutes take minutes from Thompson and Barnes, two very capable young players that might be better than Iguo soon.
By committing 4 years to Iguodola, they'll have to make contract choices when Thompson and Barnes' contracts expire in 2 and 3 years respectively. Much like how OKC decided to trade Harden.
Signing Iguodola means losing Jack and Landry who are important to they're team.

I hope they invest in a good trainer because they're gonna need it.

Words cant describe how huge it is to have a player like Jack backing up Curry.

Constructing this deal as a 3-way trade is big for both Golden State and Denver.

Instead of "just" Iguodala, the Warriors should now get Iggy, a $9M trade exception, a $4M trade exception, the use of their MLE and the ability to bring Nedovic over rather than making him sign a letter to stay overseas.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets get a $12M trade exception (or maybe a net $9M?) and Foye, and they retain the use of their own MLE (rather than using it on Foye).

If you're a fan of any other Western Conference playoff team, this trade is bad news. Still, it seemed inevitable that it would come to this as players and teams saw what each other were doing.

Bogut could barely walk in-between games in the playoffs last year. He's not going to be able to make it through an 82-game season.

Hard to be better when you're on the bench in a suit.

Jack is not the better player, but the better fit. Just like our prior debate of jsmoove or Anderson. Of course, with Smith getting overpaid by MoTown and our desire to keep Asik, we will get neither

Okay, lulz? Iggy is one of the most durable players in the league.

Do you follow @WorseThan_Cohan on Twitter? He's a Warriors blogger who seems to have a good sense of how the CBA works in the NBA. He's blasting them over this. He thinks the Warriors are being less than truthful about being able to dump salary the way they are claiming. He is extremely critical of their ownership and management. He thinks the league may even look at voiding the Jefferson trade if there isn't more included than what's been reported under "Basketball Reasons." Says that deal lmeans the Nuggets agreed to reduce any TPE they get from Iggy while helping the Warriors to get a larger TPE than them...can't understand why the league would allow that.

Utah is such a poorly ran team. They let Jefferson and Millsap walk for nothing. Then this trade? They basically paid 24 Million for 2 late first? They could have got more, they had all the leverage

Confusion. One guy is comparing Jack to Curry. Another is comparing Iggy to Jack. Jack is best player because Curry is injured. Jack is a better fit than Iggy. Obviously Iggy> Jack
