Stephen A. says it's 50-50 Carmelo Anthony leaves New York next year and it's 50-50 he comes to the Lakers.

    Haha good, good.

I'd much rather have Kobe and Melo teamup than Lebron go there.

Imagine the Kobe facial expressions that would happen with Melo on the team.

Melo will not go to LA. LA won't be in position to win.

These ESPN clowns love their little "50-50" predictions

Not enough possessions to go around for both of the guys on the same team.

Early response from the majority of Lakers fans on Twitter is they don't want Carmelo Anthony.

Oh I get it. We're going back to pre-algebra:

    A negative + A negative = A posititve.....

Not sure it works so much for basketball. Nice try tho. LOL

I would be pretty happy if L.A. big get next year was Melo.

There's a 50-50 chance that Melo goes to Charlotte next year too..he either will or he won't.

If Stephen A Smith said it I believe he has a reason to. Maybe I'm wrong but I haven't seen him make up complete BS like the other ESPN reporters. He was ridiculed when he reported the Clippers/Celtics stuff months before it happened.

Guess what, ESPN? I can do that too...

There is a 50/50 chance I will try out for an NBA team and 50/50 chance that one will sign me.

Now no matter what happens, I can't say I was wrong! God I despise them. How about you stop speculating about things that won't happen for another year (and passing it off as news) and just report the real news when it happens?

Maybe, but using 50/50 for two different scenarios (leaving NY, joining LA) is just ludicrous to me. It just screams "I am making **** up right now". Better off saying "Melo is unsure about his future in NY and LA is a plausible scenario that he could join". At least then you're not throwing around percentages off the top of your head.

    Kinda yes and kinda no,

We don't really know, we're just hosting a show.

    50/50 or 60/40,

Let's make up some numbers, otherwise we'll look dumber!

    :D
