PPat's Q&A about his rebound @ the 16:00 mark (Feb, 1, 2013) <iframe width="480" height="302" src="http://www.ustream.tv/embed/recorded/28951470?v=3&wmode=direct" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border: 0px none transparent;"> </iframe> <br /><a href="http://www.ustream.tv/" style="padding: 2px 0px 4px; width: 400px; background: #ffffff; display: block; color: #000000; font-weight: normal; font-size: 10px; text-decoration: underline; text-align: center;" target="_blank">Video streaming by Ustream</a>
I would be really happy if T.Jones can be named a starter and get 30 minutes a game by mid season, not to say a Lamar Odom comparison. But I'm really fearing that with existing personnel we will be experimenting with small balls most of time and twin towers to a less degree. When the game counts, Kevin McHale had absolutely no trust in any of the young PFs, and we are not sure if that was his problem or T.Jones/Motie's problem. With Howard on board, he should be even more focusing on winning every game this year than last year. You never know how many good years we have ahead of us before a critical injury catches us. I'm afraid we are going to see the "Fire McHale, unleash T.Jones" threads as soon as the season starts... At least Ppat is a quality player that can fill our need for cheap, add to our depth chart and McHale is willing to play. Since we are not losing Asik, when a better option becomes available we can still make trades. There's really no point for the Kings to have Ppat. What are they going to do with him? Play him off the bench for a year going nowhere, and pay him $5-6M/y next summer?
I think next season is the earliest Rockets look at Patterson, but I think Rockets want better player there.
Indeed. Really underrated. Great cerebral team player and locker room guy who has an absolutely money jump-shot. The mediocre rebounding and constant slip-screening was a bit annoying, but not impossible for him to remedy. Would be a valuable piece for this existing squad now that Dwight has been acquired.

Would rather bring back Dragic. That dude would be a great fit for us. That being said, I'm hoping the best for Lin and know that there is A LOT of talent in him. I think he and Harden are not the best pair.
Joking aside, what's up with Landry and PPat both being the backup PF? So PPat is there just to comfort Cousins?
he's the one who spoken openely and criticized Harden when we went on 0-7 loosing streak...after ppat went Harden switched to isomode...perhaps harden need veteran presence to keep him in check...
I doubt morey would trade for him with 1 year left on his deal. He would wait until next off season, see what the market offers him and determine if he is worth it.
