Aldridge already came out and said he wants to get traded. You think he wants to play the prime of his years on a mediocre team? They're an 8th seed, at best.

He would LOVE to play for this team, especially with the addition of Howard.

i like horford too but assuming hawks want to rebuild, they want a lot of picks. we can try to give them all our second rounders lol.

I think love creates the spacing needed. And he would love to be reunited with Mchale. But flip won't deal him is what I heard.

One of their teams will hopefully knock the other out of that 8th seed and allow Morey to snag the loser. Personally, I'd be happy with either, but Aldridge will be the easier get.

Love is better than Aldridge, but Portland are far more likely to send Aldridge out than Minnesota are Love at this point, and I wouldn't really complain about either.

You can't use Love's 2012-13 charts, what games he did play, he played with an injured shooting hand.

LMA would be amazing in this offense.

Then we essentially become the Thunder from last year and are put in the situation were we have to pick who gets a contract.

If we're building around Dwight, we need a stretch 4. That would be KEVIN LOVE.

I'd be very happy with either, but if I had to choose I'd take Love. Minnesota isn't trading him though...they would be crazy to do so at this time. The Wolves have a decent chance to make the playoffs next season.

The good thing is that Love has an opt out in his contract this year! So if he's not happy he will leave in the offseason! Better to get something for him than nothing! Maybe we can get him at the trade deadline! I just don't see us getting him until then! I'd take either LMA or Love! Love is the better fit though! He can hit the mid and the three! The more spacing we have the better!

LMA. His offense is more polished. That mid-range J is near automatic.

Can I be "that guy" and pick an option not on the list?

    Kevin Love.

1st order 3 point shooter, and rebounder.

I don't think there's ever been anybody in the league that put those two attributes together anywhere nearly as well. Stretch 4's normally leave me uneasy for their crappy rebounding and defense. Despite being a douchebag, Love rebounds like a mensch, and we now have Dwight to offset his "D".

In a void, I might prefer Aldridge, but Love fits this team like a glove.

Well, they're both enough to put us into contention in my opinion. I'd take whichever one is available. Aldridge is the better defender and shot creator, but Kevin Love is the same age as Harden. We wouldn't have to worry about him dropping off due to old age. If we were lucky enough to be able to choose between the two, I'd go with Love.

By the way, this will be the season to watch Love. If he wants to force his way out and still get the full salary, he'll have to take his player option and then demand a trade. That, and he's coming off a total lost season and he'll have to prove he is still an all star.

Oh and basketball aside I still hate that fat **** for stepping on Scola while he was down and it'd be hard to root for him.

Aldridge. He adds a dimension that you currently don't have (mid-range J), is a good rebounder, solid defender, and can play some spot time at the 5 ( like he already does with Portland).

His ability to play the 5 makes him more valuable than Love.
