So things have been pretty crazy in these past couple of days, hell even weeks for us Rocket fans. I'm beginning to forget who is actually on the squad and who isn't, so bare with me and help me out. As far as I know the current roster looks like so: PG- Lin-Beverly-Cannan SG- Harden SF- Parsons-Garcia PF- Jones-Motie C- Howard-Asik So I got 10 players so far. I wasn't too sure about James Anderson or Greg Smith, so could everybody help me out with what their situation is. You've got to wonder what that unpredictable mo-fo Morey has up his sleeve this time. Obviously we're pretty solid at the starting 2/3/5. The PG rotation could certainly be better, but it's certainly not bad. The big question for me is the PF position, I think both guys that we currently have both have the skillsets to succeed. Especially Terrence. I really hope I get the chance to see him post 25-30 minutes a game. You've got to assume that DM the GM is going to add a wing to the rotation with or without Anderson and with Asik wanting out and Jeremy seeming to be dangled in trade talks to an extent(they certainly haven't denied it). I'm dying to know what the next move is to solidify this contending roster. I'm just praying that Terrence Jones isn't traded in the process.

Greg Smith and James Anderson are still on the team. Smith will be a restricted FA after the end of next season though.
Lin, Beverly, canaan Harden, garcia, Anderson Parsons, Casspi Jones, Motiejunas, smith Howard, Asik, Ohlbrecht My count is 14. Could use one more guard to back up Harden.
I think the rockets should make a strong pitch for Corey brewer, he could be a great back up for harden and is a over the top scorer.
If we get Brewer I think we probably dump James Anderson. He's a great hustler and role player, but his ceiling is probably on par with James White and Mike Harris, guys we loved for their potential but who would ultimately be limited at the highest level.
i'm hoping for a steal with the room exception. someone on the wing or at the 4/5 would be good. also, hopefully we find someone with recent championship experience to help guide our team. those kind of guys help teams turn the corner. fisher, billups, etc...
