Casspi will so well in this young team...there's a vibe of chemistry thats formed and will continue to grow as long as they have Harden's beard, Parson's good looks, Lin's dragon blood on the court, Dwight Superman flying around, and a whole bench staff of great guys that want to grow and win. Its just fun, infectious, and a place people want to go to get out of the pure work business no fun Lakers basketball.
You might be surprised. I think he has potential to crack the rotation as long as his shot is falling and he D's up. He knows uptempto basketball so he's a great fit for this team.
Check out the article Ben posted. The hilarious Hebrew to English translation created a gold mine of possible nicknames!
Throughout the season, Casspi will get minutes when his shot is falling, but he isn't good enough to be a core player (top 8) on a contender.
If the roster stays the same, he'll be the 9th man in the rotation. Lin, Harden, Parsons, Howard, Jones/Motiejunas, Beverley, Asik, Garcia
Yahoo ran a story about breaking down recent FA deals and rating how good a deal they are for player/team. Here's Casspi: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...ther-nba-free-agent-agreements-120652013.html
Thanks for posting. I disagree with KD's assessment here on Casspi shooting too many 3's. That may have been in the case up until this point; but with the amount of doubles Dwight will receive, having knockdown shooters is critical. Aside from transition buckets, I'd imagine the bulk of Casspi's attempts will come from long range. Which is fine by me since I don't really want to see this kid trying to put the ball on the floor.
I think it's because he will be officially signed only on July 10th,which means for now he is reportedly signed, there is nothing on Howard playing in Rockets in Wikipedia as well.
