The thing about Anderson is that he has good physical tools, but a relatively low skill level. Average handles at best, and inconsistent shot. He does hustle hard though, so is more of a scrappy defensive 3 on the NBA level.

Nah. He just had a bad game. I'm not saying he's anything more than a role player, but he definitely belongs on an NBA roster.

    First game thoughts-

-Beverley hasn't lost that feistiness at all. Definitely is going to be an important part of this team next season. Needs to do a bit better job of orchestrating the offense, but all-in-all same old Pat Bev we saw last year, and thats a good thing.

-Jones- Looked like an NBA player playing in the D-League. Still has his Jonesian tendencies at times, but its clear his talent is above everyone else in these type of games. Not sure if he's going to be polished enough next year to be an impact player because I need to see more work on his overall game, but Im liking that he is continuing to show that his talent is top notch.

-Smith- Didn't beast on the boards like I was hoping, but had some good moments. Free throws were very flat, and that's something he's going to need to work on. Also, if he's going to want to win over the starting PF position next to Dwight, Im going to need to see him show more of an offensive game away from the basket to keep the paint from being overcrowded.

    .........

    Sixers-

Michael Carter Williams looks like a player. Very slick agile moving NBA body for guard. Will be an attacking guard that will play well in the pick and roll. Shot mechanics are better than advertised but seems to alway shoot the ball with very little arch. I think he's going to be a good shooter at some point, but his strength will definitely be attacking the basket.

    Royce-

Do we really still have to talk about this guy more? Look, its Hinkie we are talking about here... he's going to tread through the Royce White situation with caution and isn't just going to throw him out there. I would assume its probably not even decided as to whether or not he's even going to be someone they want to bring in or just waive.

Plus, dont forget that technically he hasn't even been traded yet, and cant be made official until the 10th.

there are stream links out there to stream the games from. Somewhere on the BBS there is a thread with a list of old and new links to stream almost any sport from around the world.

I streamed the from http://www.vipboxonline.eu/. Hope I don't get into trouble for posting it here and not in the other thread.

I think it was Dean Cooper with the clipboard drawing up the plays for this game.

IF you buy the stream package at nba.com for $15, you can watch the game as many times as you want in high quality as well as every other game in Orlando and Vegas.

Beverly just proving that he's a back up point guard at best. Just because you can't foul out doesn't mean you play garbage defense that results in stupid fouls. How you rack up 5 fouls in the first half man....

It sure is nice to see a 'DNP-COACH'S DECISION' by Isaiah Canaan's name. What'd you draft him for then?

Also wanted to see Vander Blue play.

That's the thing, Beverly consistently picks up fouls at an alarming rate. For comparison, his fouls per minute is equal to Greg Smith.

It sure is nice that you can't fact check.

Canaan has an ankle sprain that kept him from playing.

Was it blacked out? I thought for sure that I had it scheduled to record and when I went to watch it the game was over and all I saw was the TJ interview.

His fouls per 36 minutes last season were 4.2 and Greg's were 5.7 (8.9) the season before.
